A Magical Evening In May

Well "A Magical Evening in May" or to be more precise, Wednesday 21st May 2008, 7pm at Southport Arts Centre, Lord Street, Southport WAS THE PLACE TO BE!

The evening DID bring fun, laughter and smiles to all the family.  IT DID HAVE jugglers, clowns, amazing illusionists and much more, this variety show DID grip the attention of children as well as the child in every adult!

IT DID HAVE something for everyone, the live stage show DID provide everything you needed for a great night out, all in aid of Derian House Children's Hospice, to raise vital funds.

Big Hands Management have to say a HUGE, HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE AND THAT MEANS EVERYONE.  From Mr Paul Crone himself, to all the Artistes that took part, the Meet And Greet Artistes, the backstage crew, and everyone else who came along to support us, thank you all so much.  YOU WERE ALL MAGIC!

We were also delighted that Sandra and John were able to join us from The Nicholas Appeal.  Sandra, John, it was a pleasure to meet you both, and I admire your strength and determination in striving to raise the amount of money in memory of your grandson.  Please log onto The Nicholas Appeal and read Nick's story and the wonderful work his family are undertaking to raise funds for Derian House.

 Deputy Mayor of Chorley, Councillor Iris Smith & Consort, Jim Smith attended the evening of the 21st, and in their own words had a "Magical Evening".
