I remembered the first day when I clicked on a link from a Neopets petpage and the link led to a Neopet-related site and I thought to myself, Wow! I want to make a site just like this! So I attempted to make one, but didn't get anywhere far. I then met Kayla, who then helped me and I told her what I wanted on the site. She then decided she's going to redo the whole thing and show it to me later as a surprise. A day later, she IMed me and told me it was done. I was so amazed by it and thought This is great! I'm going to run the site forever....until today. I have grown older and my interests have changed. I lost interest in Neopets. I've realized in the past 3 years, being an owner of a site is pretty hard to manage. You always got to watch out for people stealing your graphics and making sure you’re not stealing someone else's. High school's coming up for me and I won't have time going on the computer and taking care of virtual pets and creating graphics for people that probably nobody uses.

Tiki-Island has been inactive for too long and most of the staff members are probably long gone. Affiliates and partners can remove our button. If anyone is still using our graphics, please make sure our credit is still there. I'm still going to keep all of the graphics I've made so if you stolen something I can still track you down.

At the same time, it's a sad thing seeing that Tiki-Island has come to an end. =( I might come back, but that's unlikely to happen. Well goodbye and take care everyone.
