Here is a Article on Mtv about an duet with Brandy and Usher:

Just two weeks after Jermaine Dupri said Usher and Alicia Keys' "My Boo" duet would be another smash in their platinum catalog, not only has that record surfaced, but so have a couple of other songs on which Usher teams with Beyoncé and Brandy.

Usher starts off the mid-tempo "My Boo" by singing, "It is always that one person who will always have your heart/ You never see it coming because you're blinded from the start/ ... I know you're that one for me/ It's clear for everyone to see."

Keys comes in, rapping, "I don't know about y'all, but I know about us/ And, uh, this the only way we know how to rock."

True to Dupri's description (see "Usher, Alicia Keys Record Duet"), the two talk about how they used to be in love and how those feelings are still lingering despite the two not being involved anymore.

"It started when we were younger, you were mine, my boo," Usher sings on the chorus. "Now another brother's taken over." Then on Keys' verse, she tells Usher, "After we kissed, I could only think about your lips."

The New York Grammy winner isn't the only fly girl Usher has feelings for on wax, though. Another version of "My Boo" has popped up, with Beyoncé singing Keys' part.

Usher and Brandy aren't getting along as famously on "Who Is She 2 U." The version fans will hear on Brandy's upcoming Afrodisiac (see
"Brandy Album Preview: Singer Opens Up On Afrodisiac — Or Does She?") has the female singer going it alone over the Timbaland-produced track, but on the original incarnation of the song, she's busting Usher's chops.

"Don't even think about calling me crazy, you know you've seen that lady," Brandy sings. "You tried to play it off, but I could tell that you two were friends/ You were just too nervous, she was looking like she was hurt/ But the memory has surfaced."

"Who is she to me? Nobody, babe," Usher sings, defending himself. "Who is she to me? No need to explain/ I don't know why homegirl keeps on lying on everything I'm denying/ ... Don't be paying that broad no attention, 'cause you're the one I'm with."

The last new Usher record starting to get play below radar is a remix of "Confessions, Pt. 2" featuring all new rhymes from Kanye West, Twista and Shyne. West has been tapped to open for Usher on tour, beginning August 5 in Hampton, Virginia (see
"Usher, Kanye To Bring 'The Truth' Nationwide"). Usher's itinerary currently runs through an October 7 show in Hartford, Connecticut, but the singer's management said more dates may be added.

The singer's rep also said the aforementioned Usher tracks may or may not be officially released. It's unclear what the plan for those records are because Usher is still on tour overseas. As for a possible expanded reissue of Confessions, Usher's management said no decision had been made yet.

Brandy Releases Two Singles Simultaneously
Brandy and Atlantic Records have decided to play it safe and make sure the 2nd single is a hit by releasing two songs at the same time: "Who Is She 2 U" and "Afrodisiac."

Brandy has said in many interviews that she was hoping for "Afrodisiac" to be released as the next single. Her wish came true. A video for the Timbaland-produced song will be shot in the upcoming weeks. The director hasn't been confirmed but Marcus Raboy is said the be sitting in the big chair.

While only one video is set to be released, the smooth mid-tempo "Who Is She 2 U" will go for urban adds July 27th. No add date has been set for "Afrodisiac" yet but it is assumed the track will be released to pop/crossover radio.

Usher has also recorded vocals for another version of "Who Is She 2 U," but neither Arista or Atlantic confirmed that the track would be released.

NEW YORK, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 07/09/2004 -- Atlantic recording artist Brandy returns to the top of the national charts this week with her eagerly awaited new album, "AFRODISIAC," which debuts in the #3 spot on the Billboard 200. At the same time, the album has earned the "Pacesetter" award with its #4 premiere on the magazine's "Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums" chart. "AFRODISIAC," Brandy's fourth album, marks her first new music since 2002's RIAA platinum, Grammy-nominated "FULL MOON."

Three years after he allegedly wed Brandy in secret, the father of the R&B singer's daughter is claiming the two were never really married.

In interviews earlier this week with New York radio stations WBLS-FM and WQHT-FM, Robert Smith insisted that he and the 24-year-old Brandy, who released her fourth album, Afrodisiac, on June 29, never legally wed. Rather, the couple just portrayed the notion of nuptials to preserve Brandy's image.

And just as Brandy had claimed that she wasn't in love with Smith when the couple split up last year Wasn't Painful", Smith said he never loved Brandy in a romantic way, but that he continues to love her as a friend.

In early 2002, at the same time Brandy announced she was pregnant, she broke the news that she and Smith had gotten married in the summer of 2001. Before he began his relationship with Brandy, Smith was involved with another woman, a film producer, and initially had sustained relationships with both women. When Brandy became pregnant, the decision was made to tell people they were married.

Brandy gave birth to daughter Sy'rai in June 2002, as documented in the MTV program "Diary Presents: Brandy — Special Delivery," and the couple parted ways a year later. Smith has since gotten back with the film producer, and they are expecting a child in two months.

Brandy, in a statement issued by her publicist, claimed she was "hurt and shocked" by Smith's revelations. Instead of a legally recognized marriage, she claims they had a "spiritual union and a true commitment to each other."

"We still share a common bond through our daughter, Sy'rai," the statement continued. "He is not thinking about her, me, or what we had together. He is trying to destroy my reputation while using me and our daughter to get publicity and radio airplay for his artists. I am stunned that he is being so dirty about it."

Smith, a music producer, said he appeared on the radio stations to introduce Amanda, a new artist signed to his Big Bert Entertainment imprint who is dropping the single "Please Mister" in August.

Following Brandy's statement, Smith issued one of his own. "My comments were in no way made to take away any responsibility from Sy'rai emotionally or financially," it read. "And in no way am I an irresponsible father. ... I have recently been granted joint custody of Sy'rai. When breaking off relationships it's always difficult, and I prefer not to air our dirty laundry through the media. I was just stating the truth. Brandy and I have many things to work out over a long period of time, [and] will hopefully [head] in a more positive direction."

Brandy to marry Her new Man

Almost two weeks after Robert Smith alleged that he and Brandy never actually married, the singer has announced her engagement to NBA star Quentin Richardson.

The singer, 25, and the Chicago-born guard for the Los Angeles Clippers, 24, got engaged on Tuesday, according to People. Richardson proposed during a private party at the Century Club in Los Angeles with the couple's friends and families in attendance.

Richardson reportedly asked for Brandy's hand by adorning it with an 11-and-a-half-carat diamond ring valued at $1 million and designed by jeweler Jason Arasheben, who completed the ring just 30 minutes before the proposal.

No date for the wedding was announced.

In a June interview with MTV, Brandy spoke of her relationship with Richardson. "It's definitely going well," she said. "We're taking it day by day because we're both young and I've been through a crazy experience."

The singer also said that if she were to get engaged again, she would not keep it a secret. "I promise you, I'm gonna call [my next marriage] my first marriage, because it'll be the first time that I'll ever get a chance to walk down the aisle and have bridesmaids and my mom crying and my dad giving me away, and just really being in love with somebody. I promise you, it will not be a secret because it'll be real."

Robert Smith recently told two New York radio stations that he and Brandy were never legally wed, but simply kept up appearances to maintain the singer's image, since she was pregnant with their child
