Half Day Turkish for Beginners - Wednesdays from 4th July - £30 per person (special price from Altinkum Marketplace)
This excellent class is designed for those who just want to learn the basics of Turkish from a professional teacher, in a fun, relaxing and sociable environment - and what could be more relaxing than combining your lesson with a boat trip and lunch, included in the price? It also makes an excellent foundation course for the 1-3 month classes detailed below. Wednesdays from 4th July, £30 per person when quoting reference "Altinkum Marketplace". Max 10 people per class.
1-3 Month Turkish for Beginners and Intermediates - Tuesdays & Fridays from 3rd July - £40 per person
This class is essential for those thinking about making a life or retiring in Turkey. Focusing on daily life, this course starts with conversational phrases in Turkish from day one, with emphasis on speaking and understanding as well as grammar! Suitable for all students from those who have studied Turkish before to complete newcomers to the language. Classes will run in Altinkum and / or Akbuk, dependent on demand - minimum 8 students per class.
Class times are:
Tuesdays - 10am-1pm / 3pm-6pm / 7.30pm-10.30pm
Fridays - 10am-1pm / 3pm-6pm / 7.30pm-10.30pm
Each level is 6 hours a week for 4 weeks and costs £40 per person.
About the teacher
Sengul started teaching Turkish in 1998 at Persona Eğitim ve Danışmanlık Ltd – a professional business training school in İstanbul - where she specialised in personal lessons for managerial staff in companies including HSBC, Ericsson, Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola and Firecreek Petroleum. More recently, Sengul has been carrying out personal and group lessons at embassies and foreign companies in Ankara and is now preparing her own text book for Turkish Language students.
