The reason furniture companies place this tag on furniture is because most cleaners do not have the knowledge to safely clean these fabrics or the modern hi-tech equipment to do it. So, it is legaly safer for them to place these tags on their furniture. The dry cleaning method is NOT an effective cleaning method. It is also not the healthiest cleaning method.
