Phi Theta Kappa: Alpha Lambda Delta Chapter

About Us

The Alpha Lambda Delta Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa is located at Elizabethtown Community and Technical College. What is Phi Theta Kappa? Phi Theta Kappa is the national honors society of the two year college. To be eligble for membership a student must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher and have completed at least 12 credit hours. Those who have accepted membership can not stress the number of benefits. Once you have acccepted membership you have access to scholorships that are over 34 million dollars that are only available to members. Besides the scholorships offered, members learn leadership qualities that set us apart from other college students. Did we mention that being a member also allows you to wear regalia at graduation and that it is also noted on your college transcripts? Our chapter has a special program in place that will purchase your graduation regalia for you. There are 3 levels of participation that the member must complete before these items are purchased. Many of our members have completed the first two levels during their first semester being a member. We encourage members to be as active as possible, but we understand that some have other priorities outside of our society.
