The ALPHA KAPPA RHO was the first humanitarian organization to be chartered independent from its mother country. In its early years, it introduced essential characteristics of such fraternities. An oath of secrecy, logo, motto, code of laws, and an elaborate initiation ritual. The organization is made up of men and women from mixed cultures, different religious backgrounds and interests. The Alpha Kappa Rho do not descriminate, in the basis of race, disability, creed, political beliefs, and gender preferences.

Since 1973, Alpha Kappa Rho has maintained a proud tradition of creating and perpetuating brotherhood for good men coast to coast. Dedicated Alumni have long preserved and enriched the tradition with a vision for the future that exemplifies the experience of the past. Through the years, many brothers have noted that Alpha Kappa Rho have made significant contributions early in their lives. With gratitude, these members have remained loyal and are supportive of the fraternity’s future.

Alpha Kappa Rho Fraternity & Sorority exists to create a bridge between all men & women committed in seeking the social advancement of under represented populations. The seed of the organization has been planted and the need became clear for a formal structure to contain the mutual feelings among members.

The SKEPTRON SOCIETY has always been and always will be an organization steeped in the traditions of the past and dedicated to the pursuit of Brotherhood & Sisterhood. The organization is made up of men & women from all cultures, religious backgrounds and interests; it has spread throughout the Philippine archipelago as Alpha Kappa Rho Inter-Collegiate service Fraternity and Sorority and spread throughout the world as Alpha Kappa Rho International Service Fraternity and Sorority. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, disability, creed, political beliefs.

Alpha Kappa Rho has become so huge and dynamic now. Its long stretched arms overshadows and influences public groups and other fraternities as well. The name itself is synonymous with strength, not just in numbers but also by belief. But some might wonder as to what extent can we have such honor engraved into our hands. For it's not the lessons that we've  learned that will fail us, but the lessons we 'forget'.

Alpha Kappa Rho must always strive to  produce better leaders among its diverse members. We musn't forget the recruitment of quality members from all walks of life. For whom shall we pass our goals to when time comes. The bottom line is, we have to keep the flame burning from one Skeptron generation to another. Multiply as we speak, pass the flame and preserve the Mighty name of ALPHA KAPPA RHO.

We maintain loyalty and unity while we strive for patience, perseverance and pride.

LONG LIVE!  SKEPTRONS
