Investigation:

11of us set out in search of the ghosts of Southsea Castle, The group I was in consisted of…

would love this to be paranormal but sadly it's just dust

 

We started in the Castle Tunnels (an area that runs underneath the castle walls) here Jo and Sandy got the feeling of a young girl in a big dress with blonde ringlets and the name “Eleanor”, Stuart and myself got the feeling of somebody running and Stuart also thought that a knife was involved somehow (we later found out that the other group picked up someone saying “I cut him, I cut him good” but we did not know this at the time). From here we went to the rooms behind the castle keep.

 

 

These two rooms felt calmer than the tunnels and not a lot happened other than the door opening and closing, it was a windy night and I believe this was the cause but Stuart felt as though it was much more than that. As we left the rooms the door closed quickly and sandy was pushed back by something. We moved to the chapel and here Steve and Jo felt that there was something in the room next door, Jo felt it was not good and wanted to leave but as she was about to she was stopped in her tracks and couldn’t reach the door. Jo had to get Stuart to open the door and let her out. We then moved to a part of the castle known as the “time tunnel” because of its mannequins and guide to the history of the castle (a part of the Castle that the Sensitives didn’t venture into) in here the sound of scraping was heard but nothing else.

 

After a break we headed for the Castle Keep.

  

 

We started on the top floor of the keep and Jo picked up a small man in the corner who claimed that this was his place and he got very angry when we sent Steve into his space, nothing was caught on the middle floor or bottom floor.

 

The Big man himself, wanted Southsea built in 1544 to keep out the french

 

We then Headed to the tunnels to see what the Psychics could pick up one last time,

Many names came throught but the one we were most interested in was Eleanor. Eleanor kept saying “BASTARD” and when asked who is? She replied “A MAN” we also found out the she came to the tunnels to meet a man who she kept calling a bastard, this we found puzzling until later… The temperature in the tunnels had dropped considerably so we headed to the rooms behind the keep here we got the name Sergeant Andrew Beacher, the investigation ended soon after.

 

(Both names will be investigated further)

 

We had used Motion Sensors and trigger objects but sadly nothing moved.

 

We later found out that a young girl had been Abused in the tunnels at some point in history, could this of been Eleanor? Only a return visit may help to find out. Southsea Castle is a great place to visit, not only at night but during the day time as well use the link below to know more…
