Our mares were chosen for their beauty, conformation and temperaments and of course what every Arabian should be able to do, be a riding horse. We also believe that our mares bloodlines are suitable for the showring be it In Hand or under saddle and also out on the endurance trail. Our mares have all be shown with great success as younger fillies and now are being educated to saddle and some will commence some endurance training, while the others will produce the next generation of Al Maree Arabians.
Our lovely Zealia [Quassa - Zeal] [pictured below], what can we say, she is stunningly beautiful and is the show queen of the farm. Zealia has a very impressive show record with many Supreme Champions, Champions , Reserves and wins and placings. Zealia comes from a mainly crabbet line of pedigree with the wonderful Desert Shadow [imp UK], Indian King and Indian Sunlight, along with the Australian import Houssain and the famous Rakib flowing through her veins. Zealia has won the Supreme Champion Arabian award at the prestigious 2003 Horse of the Year Show and is currently in foal the the senior sire at Al Maree Arabians, PL Maximus, we are sure the progeny of this cross will be spectacular.
Al Maree Arabians also own a lovely partbred Arabian mare Alamode Arianna [ Face Value - Euralea Sadarah]. Pictured below, this striking mare has been shown for Supreme Champion Partbred Arabian at the 2005 Horse Of The Year Show. A. Arianna has a superb ground covering trot and a people loving nature to match. This mare has been broken in and will be commencing some endurance training before becoming a broodmare for Al Maree Arabians. It is hoped Ariana will pass on her colour as well as all her wonderful attributes to her progeny. A.Arianna has famous pure Arabian bloodlines on her dam's side with Simeon Sadir [imp/exp] the1998 NZ National Champion Stallion as her grandsire as well as the influential Imperial Madaar, Ansata Ibn Sudan, Dresden and Aethon to perpetuate her riding horse abilities as well as her beauty.
Masada Park Mercedes [Breakaway Black Sambucca [imp Aust] - Haeremai]. Pictured below, a substancial mare standing 15.1hh with the sweetest of temperaments. MP Mercedes has Egyptian blood in her with the likes of Ruminaja Fayez, Sheik Al Badi and Bint Magidaa on her sire's side. Her dam has the incredible Touch of Magic [imp Aust], Naseem, Indian Magic and Riffal in her pedigree, thus making MP Mercedes a Crabbet Egyptian cross mare. A Supreme Champion in the showring, MP Mercedes has been started under saddle, but this has been put on hold for her, as she is in foal to the stunning PL Maximus for a 2006 foal. We are eagerly awaiting this baby, and expect to have a terrific riding horse from this cross. Also carrying a black gene through her sire, MP Mercedes could breed black progeny if put to homozygous or black bred stallions. We love our MP Mercedes and like her namesake car, she is top quality.
Silhouette Sapphire has already proven her worth in the showring and the breeding barn. A mare of extreme type and beauty, S.Sapphire is sired by Breakaway Black Sambucca [imp Aust] from the Ibn Naaddel mare, Aotea Libra. The lines in her pedigree boast Egyptian, Russian and English with the likes of Ruminaja Fayez, Sheik Al Badi, Napraslina, Pletka and Fayrial as well as the ethereal Naadirah and Silver Fire. S.Sapphire also carries a black gene through her sire. A show Champion, S. Sapphire has given Al Maree Arabians a gorgeous filly foal by PL Maximus who we intend to show as a youngster and keep for a riding horse when older. S.Sapphire is again in foal to PL Maximus for a 2006 foal. Our beautiful Silhouette Saphire is a joy to have around and is a very people orientated horse with a lady like temperament of grace and poise.
