28/10/06 (28th October 2006)

Okay so this was a great day for me! I finally got to visit the London MCM EXpo (Manga. Comic. Media) It took awhile for me and my parents to get there, with the train situation and all, but we made it after two hours of being confused LOL! When we got there, there was a massive queue, literally, it was half a mile long just to get into the MCM expo. So the maximum queuing time was 1hour, we qued for that long and when we got in, it was so freaking cool!! There were ALOT of cosplayers, I managed to guess most of their costumes, some I saw were: Link, Sheik, Puchiko, Rabi en rose, Sailor moon, Sailor jupiter, El erich, Al elrich, Inuyasha, Kagome, Pikachu... and so much more! ^.^ There was the voice actor for El elrich there, Aaron dismuke (Might I add that he is SO HOT!!) and there were ADV films, manga sweatdrop studios, Jetix, MVM and Neo supporters there, different sections for them and a Tokyopop manga stall. There was also a Manga drawing competition (I entered) and DDR, yugioh trading card game area and a whole section dedicated to trading cards and anime and movies ^^ It was like a smaller version of Tokyo... but in London!! ^^

*Note: This Expo is held in Central London every 28th October and 26th May, every year.

Well this day was certainly a special day for me! I saw a trailer of a girl named Sophie McGregors anime: Eternal, that she had drawn and animated herself, using ms paint and movie maker. Woah. It was amazing because ms paint and movie maker are so basic and crappy, that she actually managed to make something cool from it! It was totally eye-opening, and it inspired me to bring my creations to life also. I decided with my friend Jessica, that I should start my own anime series using ms paint and movie maker. I already had the idea since I was 11, the anime is called Serenade of Diamonds and it has quite a really extreme storyline for a Magical Girl anime! Jessica eventually tagged along on my Journey to help me create this anime, so we decided to work on the anime together. Who knows? It may be very successful. I'm hoping so, fingers crossed peoples!!

Jessica and I were struggling with the anime, and so we put it off for awhile. *sigh* It was such a shame since we gathered the perfect voice actors and already had every detail for the anime noted down and planned out. It just sucked that we struggled so badly with the anime. But that all changed when one of the voice actors *Shiori* uploaded a video that she made of a transformation when she was bored. Woah! It was really good. So I asked her if she wanted to join the SoD (serenade of Diamond crew) and be the animator. But of course, she agreed! Yay! So we are now back in bussiness, and managed to get pictures of the characters done, including backgrounds, templates and fan-art. You can see all this by visiting the website: www.piczo.com/serenade-of-diamonds, yes it's still under construction but it is worth the wait! Wish us luck with the anime.

Today I went on a major shopping spree! Squee >< If you know me well, you know that I love shopping and I am a total shopaholic. Well, anyway, I went to my favorite store in Camden today. Angelic Pretty! It is such a cool store for all your Harajuku or girly-girl needs. I get all my Decora, Gothic/Lolita or just ordinary clothes from Angelic pretty. Some of the stuff is priced just right and have really pretty things such as: peticoats, lolita dresses, goth costumes, japanese skirts/tops, decora items, cute handbags/purses/wallts, hairclip mayhem and prettyful rings and hair accessories! The story is decorated nicely too. Even the changing rooms are cool looking! But of course, after buying all your needs there... you MUST go to the hair-clip rack. I mean, seriously, theres no way you could go to a Angelic Pretty or Baby, the stars shine bright store without visiting the hairclip section!!! I mainly went there that day because I had to blow all my birthday money and of course, shop for an outfit for the cosplay competition for the May London MCM expo. I ended up buying a cute Pink lolita dress with a matching peticoat and chocker, yay me! XD
