momoko

She is sweet, weird, happy, and has an awesome transformation. Momoko's is a second year student of Sei Hanazono Gakuen Junior High. She lives with her father, who is a cameraman. Momoko's hobby was to take pictures too, and she was in the school newspaper club as the photographer. Momoko, along with Yuri and Hinagiku liked Yanagiba Kazuya the captain of the soccer team. But whenever Momoko tried to get close to him, Yousuke would get in the way. Momoko said that she hated him, but....

Hinagiku

Hinagiku is Momoko and Yuri's best friend. She has a very unique hair color. She is the third Ai Tenshi to be awakened by Limone and Aphrodite, Angel Daisy. As Angel Daisy she uses her Holy Time Glass (a cute little wrist watch) to blast the enemy and to transform. She also possesses the Saint Something Blue, her Holy Earrings. Hinagiku thinks that Momoko is a little silly and childish at times...but in truth she's just as bad! Momoko Yuri, and Hinagiku all have a crush on Yunagiba, the captain of the soccer team, and because of this they sometimes get in little arguments about who'll interview him for the school paper.

It all started when Sakura stumbled upon a book by Clow Reed. When she opened it, she discovered a card inside. Curious, she took it out. Unknown to her, when she spoke the name of the card she pulled out (the elemental card Windy) she unwittingly invoked it, creating a maelstrom that sent all but one of the Clow Cards flying all over Tokyo! Now, Sakura has to seek out and re-seal every last one of the Clow Cards before they fly completely out of control and trash the city. Fortunately, she will not confront the magical Clow Cards without help. First, Kereberos, the one card that remained and now animated as well, is at her side (though in a rather diminutive form). She now also has possession of the Key of Clow. Only Sakura can re-seal a Clow Card by using the Key. Once sealed, Sakura can also use the Key of Clow to summon the power of a card. In time, Sakura will locate and re-seal the cards but now must prove her worthiness by battling Yue, the Judge. By defeating the Judge, she becomes master of the Clow Cards and in turn can help them by realigning and honing their powers...which couldn't have come at a better time, because she isn't the only one out there who could be their master.

Li

Li Showron is a decendant of Clow Reed, the magician who made the Clow Cards. He thinks that he should be the only Card Captor and Sakura should not. However, after a while Sakura and Li team up to capture cards. Li possesses a short, magical sword. Though he cannot seal cards, he can invoke cards already sealed by using the sword much like Sakura uses her Key. He also has the training to invoke a number of other arcane spells. Though Li originally puts Sakura down, he eventually agrees to team up with her. And as time passes, he seems to develop feelings for Sakura he'd rather keep to himself.

Madison

Madison Taylor is Sakura Avalon's best friend and cousin. She designs Sakura's costumes she wears when capturing the clow cards. Even though Madison is not a card captor, she often films Sakura in action. Madison attends Sakura's class and is the same age as her.

Keroberos

Keroberos, aka Kero, is the Guardian Beast of the Clow Seal. He was chosen by Clow Reed, the creator of the Clow cards, to protect the cards. He is usually in his earthly form, which looks like a golden teddy bear with wings (this allows him to easily disguise himself as a stuffed toy). He eventually assumes his true form, which looks like a winged lion. His true form is powered by the Firey and Earthy cards. Kero helps out Sakura. He also loves to play video games and to eat.

Luffy

Luffy is a young boy who wishes to become a pirate. Luffy greatly admires Shanks, the leader of a gang of pirates staying in his town, but one day he accidentally eats their spoil of battle, a "Devil Fruit". The fruit's effect made it so that Luffy could never swim for the rest of his entire life, but his body also obtained the mysterious power to move like it was rubber! However, immediately after that, he angered Shanks' enemies, the bandits, and was tossed into the water in the middle of the sea. As he was drowning a monster attacked Luffy, but in a split-second Shanks was there to save him! Ten years later, using Shanks' straw hat as his trademark, Luffy set out for sea. His great journey to become a pirate had begun.

Nami

Nami hates pirates. Her childhood is filled with dark memories of pirate pillage and plunder. She (along with an older girl named Lilly) were raised by a Marine named Bellemare until the village where they were living (Cocoyashi Village) was ravaged by merman pirates. Bellemare was killed because she lacked money for a tribute. She was then forced to work for the pirates making maps when her natural talent for cartography was discovered. Therefore, Nami has made it a personal mission of herself to seek out filthy, greedy pirates and take their ill-gotten loot so that she could free her hometown and never be poor again. She carries the mark of the Arlong pirates on her left shoulder (normally covered by her shirt) as a reminder of her obligation.

Zolo

Back in his homeland, the young Roronoah Zolo had been somewhat of a troublemaker until he decided to cause trouble in a kendo school. He dared to challenge someone from the school to a kendo duel. If he won, he'd steal their school sign. If he lost, he'd become a student. However, he didn't count on two things. First, his challenger was a girl named Kuina. Second, despite choosing to fight with two swords, he lost to her.

Hikaru

Summoned unexpectedly to the planet Cephiro at the same time as Umi and Fuu, Hikaru is pretty much what you expect in an anime redhead: fire in her eyes, energetic and assertive almost to the point of aggressiveness. She's a girl of action. She's also a girl of emotional extremes. She's normally upbeat and happy all the time. Having a dog back home, she takes to the cute Mokona instantly. She is however vulnerable to bouts of deep depression, especially when something really shakes her to the core. She also looks a little young for her age and is a bit naive.

Fuu

Fuu is a very demure but very intelligent young girl who hails from a prep school. Always very polite and considerate, she frequently speaks formally, even to Hikaru and Umi, though she sometimes has her comic moments (occasional weird quips and her tendency to chat with Umi on off-topic matters). Still, she is a valuable friend and trusted ally.

Umi

Umi is from a rich school for "privileged" girls. She does not get along with Guru Clef and is perpetually annoyed by Mokona. Near the beginning of the series she acts very selfish. As Magic Knight Rayearth progresses, she starts to care for other people and better understand the Magic Knights' situation. Perhaps this is because she is a "privileged" girl. Interestingly enough Umi is the first Magic Knight to revive her Guardian. The name "Umi Ryuzaki" translates to "Dragon Blossom of the Sea".

Misaki

Misaki is from Wakayama. She sees an Angelic Layer fight on the TV outside, and Icchan randomly appears like he does. He helps her start and she buys an Angel egg that has an basic body work of an angel inside that she remodels to her likings and names her Hikaru. Misaki and Hikaru make an awesome team and even though Hikaru is an angel she still has the personality and looks of her owner Misaki.

Ichaan

Ichaan may come across as a pervert to some people, well he kind of is a pervert. But beside's all of that he is the inventor of angelic layer and helped Misaki build her Angel and train her to become very good at angelic layer. Ichaan can act seriously weird sometimes, but hey, what would you expect from a pervert.

Hamtaro

Hamtaro is the main character of this super kawaii anime. Hamtaro is owned by a 10yr old girl named Laura. Hamtaro soo became friends with Oxnard and then boss and then the others. He is very courageous and brave. He is sort of organised and knows how and when to help others.

Oxnard

Oxnard is owned by a 10yr old girl named kana who is best friends with hamtero's owner Laura. Oxnard has a passion for eating sunflower seeds thats why he always carries a sunflower seed as a snack wherever he goes.Oxnard comes across as a sweet and chubby hamster, he is very and i do mean very adorable.

Boss

Judging by his name you know this guy is the Oldest and the Bossiest. Boss is a wild hamster who dug out the ham-ham clubhouse, but was soon re-decorated soo it looked more cosier and is now a clubhouse for all the hamsters. Boss is a strong willed leader who try's to take charge. Boss has this huge crush going on with Bijou.

Bijou

ooh la la, Bijou the french hamster was the first girl to arrive on the scene, but the last to join the rest. Bijou wasnt used to leaving her mansion until Hamtaro showed her that there was nothing to be afraid of. Bijou's owner is Maria who lives in a big mansion next to Laura's house she recently moved from france.

Pashmina

Pashmina with the passion for her pink scarf is a loyal and sweet hamster. She was the second girl to appear, but she didnt appear alone she came with penelope. Howdy and dexter try to compete for pashmina's heart.

Dexter

Dexter is the hamster who has markings around his eyes that look like glasses but arent really. Dexter may look the smartest but he isnt maxwell is. Dexter has a crush on Pashmina and is also Howdys rival

Howdy

Howdy is dexters rival and has this thing for Pashmina. Howdy is the organised hamster and just always wants to clean. Howdy dreams of being richer than rich he dreams of being a millionaire.

Maxwell

Maxwell is the brains behind the group. Yep, thats right in every anime there is always a genki or smart character soo this would be the smart one in hamtaro. Maxwell always carries a book with him and is the editor of the ham-ham times. Maxwell has a huge crush on sandy.

Penelope

Penelope is a baby ham-ham who is always with Pashmina. She gets into quite alot of trouble for a younger hamster. Penelope is too young to speak yet soo all she says is "ooku"

Sandy

Sandy gives everything her best effort. She trys soo hard until she suceeds at it. Sandy has a twin brother named stan who was separated from her when she was just a young ham-ham but she is now reunited with him. Sandys owner is Hillary who is a famous gymnist.

Himeno Awayuki

Himeno Awayuki used to live with her father until he married the wealthy executive Natsue who pratically owns the city! Himeno now lives in a big mansion with her new step mom and two step sisters Mayune and Mawata who wont give her the time of day. But that all changed when she met the leafe knights and has been chosen as their pretear to save the world from Fenril the princess of disaster who trys to steal all the leafe from life (living things). Himeno is a bit ditzy and clumsy, but very determined to suceed and wont take nothing from nobody considering she's a black belt in taikwondo.

Hayate

Hayate is the leafe knights leader and the most hard-headed one out of them all. He doesnt like Himeno that much he has a hard time excepting her as their pretear but Hayate has deep unspoken feelings for Himeno but trys to cover it up by calling her a dumbass, tulip head and sometimes even a bitch! Hayate is the leafe knight of the wind and is the most funniest character other than Himeno.

Sasame

Sasame is the leafe knight of the wind, and gets along very well with Himeno and the others. Sasame works at a radio station and reads peoples postcards out and answers their problems. Sasame does this job because when people are being atacked by demon larva their talk becomes sad and so they write to him. Sasame may come across nica and helpful but he actually turns on the others and becomes Fenril the princess of disasters servent and trys to kill Hayate and the whole world.

Goh

Goh is the leafe knight of fire and is the toughest. He usually does most of the work when Mannen isnt showing off. Goh is a servent (delivery boy or something like that) for the Awayuki family. Goh is funny and has a kool taste in clothes. Once mayune tried to make him her servent but goh found her annoying and had a delivery to make.

Kei

Dispite Kei's unusual appearance and bad clothing, Kei is utterly in love with his looks. Kei is parculiar and quite hard to figure out because his always looking at himself as the best looking person in the world. Kei use's his laptop to detect the appearance probibilty of the next demon larva. Kei is the leafe knight of light.

Manen

Manen is the cocky little punk with an appitite for fighting demon larva. He always wants to do the tough and yet rough jobs and doesnt like being treated as a kid even though he is one. Manen is 10yrs old, a leafe knight of ice and is always seen with Hajime and Shin.

Hajime

Hajime Isnt the youngest but is always seen around Shin and Manen. Hajime is quite kind and caring and informable about things. Hajime is a leafe knight of water and was the second third knight to prete with Himeno. Hajime is only 8yrs old.

Shin

Shin is the youngest l;eafe knight and probablly the cutest. Shin is always seen with the Leafe knights but mainly Hajime and Manen though. Shin is one of the most important leafe knights, he has the ability to call upon a contament feild so the outside world isnt affected by their battle of fighting the domen Larvas. Shin is the leafe knight of the forest and is only 5yrs old.

Mayune

Mayune is Mawatas sister and Himenos step sister. She likes getting Himeno into heaps of trouble by setting up pranks and traps for Himeno to fall right into. Other than her melitious pranks Mayune is spoilt and cares only of her looks. Any guy that doesnt seem to find her attractive she classifyes them as an idiot. Mayune is 16 and goes to the same high school as Himeno but is much popular and well known, Mayune likes to think of herself as the most beautiful person in her town.

Mawata

Mawata is Mayunes younger sister she is 14 and is in middle school. Mawata is emotionally depressed with everyone she see's and seems to ignore them. Mawata is deeply hurt inside of nobody noticing her or asking her how she feels. She writes to Sasame of words gate on the radio and sasame reads her letter out wich makes Mawata feel loved by sasame but is soon betrayed and hurt even more and is encased in her heart, wich is cold and radiates the colour of darkness and is trapped inside it and with her being trapped she is the nucleus for the great tree of fenril.

Natsue

Natsue is Himenos step mother and Mawata and Mayunes real mother. She is sometimes casual and posh, you know, formalities and stuff like that but on one side when she is with Himenos father she is different, exotic crazy and outgoing. Natsue didnt really notice Mawata much wich made Mawata angry.

Karou

Karou is Himenos father and Mayune and Mawatas step father. He is excentric crazy and out going. Karou used to be a romance novelist but soon gave that up after they were becoming very poor and then married Natsue the new love of his life and is completely rich.

Mr Tanaka

Mr. Tanaka is the shofer of the awayuki family. When mr. Tanaka was a child he used to be in the same class as Natsue and has always had a bit of a huge crush on her but she just doesnt know it and even if she did she wouldnt be interested! Since he cant get any closer to a relationship with Natsue he has become her shofer because thats as close as he going to ever get!

Sakura

Sakura Shinguji is a young swordsman with great stage talent. When Sakura first joins the Flower Division they don't think much of her and give her a job sweeping the stages. But they find out there's more to her then good looks, and she becomes the main character throughout all of the series.

Sumire

Sumire is the only daughter and heir to the fabulously wealthy Kanzaki family, which has built an empire of industry and other holdings throughout Japan. Highly opinionated, Sumire constantly has to be the center of attention, and thinks that her opinion matters above everyone else's. This leaves her constantly butting heads with Kanna, who has made it her hobby to rain on Sumire's parade. An extremely talented actress, Sumire fiercely defends her assertion of being the "Top Star" of the Flower Division, which the others have come to accept.

Maria

Cool and reserved, Maria was born in Russia and fought during the chaos of the Russian Revolution, where her ferocity on the fiery battlefield earned her the nickname "Kazuar." After leaving Russia, Maria fell in with the New York Mafia, where Major Ayame Fujieda met her, and then brought her back to Japan to join the Flower Division. A brilliant strategist and fighter, Maria served as the first Captain of the Flower Division. Maria, however, felt that she would be better suited to assist a commander and help make strategic decisions, and requested Ayame bring in someone who would be better suited to unite and organize the Flower Division in to a more cohesive unit.

Iris

Iris is one of the more shyish character. At first she hates Sakura then starts to trust her. She always has this teddy bear with her who she says is named Jean-Paul. She wishes she could be 19 so she would be able to date Oniichan. She uses telapatic powers. She was born in Champagne, France. She came to the flower divison when Ayame convinced Iris's parents to let her go to Japan. Iris is their only daughter and they are very protective of her.

Kohran

Kohran Ri was born in Beijing, China, and speaks with a very funny Osaka dialect. She is fascinated by people flying to Japan in their flying machines, and is rather proud of her scientific abilities. She has an easy-going and agreeable personality.

Talk about CRAZY girls, Poemi Watanabe has got to be one of the craziest... aside from Excel Excel, that is! For one thing, the girl has a grand dream to be one of the greatest voice actresses in the world. The fly-in-the-ointment? Poemi's voice sounds like dying vultures screeching, not to mention she has the worst grades in her school. However, her classmate Futaba Aasu seems to forgive her, maybe because Futaba's in love with Poemi. But Poemi doesn't seem to notice Futaba's affections. Instead, she only seems to be interested in a boy in class named K. She even gave K a pager, but he never uses it (maybe because K is really an alien from space and now hopes to take over Japan, mostly to take over the anime porn business).

Shin Chan

Shin chan is the japanese version of bart simpson. A kid with attitude, an apitite for disaster and 100% funny. Shin Chan likes to eat chocy chews, watch woo woo channel (adult channel) and Loves the masked muchacho! He always gets into trouble and makes a joke or three about it, and loves teasing and tormenting his mom.

Mipsy

Mipsy is Shin Chans excentric mother who always goes on diets and doesnt stick with it for long and cannot stand Shin Chans behaviour! Mipsy nugee's shin chan when his bad and clonks him on the end leaving behind a gigantic bump on his head!

Harry

Harry is Shin Chans wacky father who stays at work late and sometimes can be a bit of a pervert eg. looking at womens legs as he is a married man. He hates it when Mipsy goes on diets or naggs to much and Shin Chans attitude behaviour problems!

Ms. Dory

Ms. Dory the cute yet enthusiac Teacher of Shin Chans class. Shes on the young side and always has fights with ms. Uma over who looks better and who dresses better and who had the most boyfriends. Ms. Dory thinks Shin Chan is weird as well as anyone els who is in his presence.

Chiyo-chan

Chiyo-chan is only ten years old, but being a child prodigy, she still is the smartest in her class
of first year high school students. However skipping five grades doesnt confer instant maturity
and there are times when her childish naivity and innosence show through. Because of these
moments and her charmingly cute demeanor, she has become the unofficial mascot of the class.

Aoyama kasuga (Osaka)

Aoyama Kasuga is a transfer student from Osaka who was immediently nicknamed Osaka.
Osaka is well, sort of the slow, spacey daydreamer of the class. She often daydreams and
occasionally falls asleep in class. Osaka is easily distracted by simple small minded things like
when she got destracted by the tiny bubbles in her eyes.

Tomo-chan

Tomo-chan is the super hyperactive, energetic one of this kooky class. Tomo is bursting with
oh so much energy that she uses to compete agaisnt others and become no.1 although this
sometimes leads her into trouble. Tomo-chan has been with Yomi since they were in kindergarten
and still are in the same class. Tomo-chan is fairly embarrising to be around.

Yomi

Yomi is frankly the ownly sane persen of the group. She is normal and sometimes quite sarcastic.
She has been with tomo-chan since they were in kindergarten and srill are in the same class, but frankly she would rather not be with tomo-chan, she finds her presence to rowdy and annoying. Yomi is quite intellegant
and good at school work, she gets easily scared.

Sakaki

Sakaki is the quitest, to herself kind of person. She doesnt really say much in the episodes but
She manages to get around a few words. Thoe others call her Ms. Sakaki and idolise her for
her unique p.e abillities. Ms. Sakaki has this secret passion for fuzzy criters, especially cats!
She always has to try and befriend a cat when she see's one and this one cat that she trys to befriend keeps biting her hand off!

Ms Yukari

Ms yukari is the wild, outgoing sort of teacher who comes across as a lazy party animal. Ms Yukari
is soppose to set an example for her students, instead, she does the completely exact opposite.
Ms, Yukari has the, rivalry, sort of thing going on between her and Ms. Kurasawa the girls p.e teacher.
Ms Yukari and Ms kurasawa have been together through-out their high school years and now are both
teachers but Ms. Yukari is more immature than ms. Kurasawa. She calls Ms. kurasawa Nyamo.

Ms. Kurasawa

Minamo Kurosawa is a physical education teacher at the same high school that she and Yukari Tanazaki graduated from. She is also the coach of the swim team that Kagura is a member of. Minamo, or Nyamo as Yukari prefers to call her, is everything Yukari ISN'T... mature, thoughful, and cautious. She prefers to plan out everything in her life, unlike Yukari who answers every whim that comes her way. Minamo cannot stand Yukari calling her by the nickname that she went by in their younger years, although the two of them are much like Tomo and Yomi are.

Mr. Kimura

The only male member of the cast, Kimura is a classical literature teacher... and the strangest one. It would seem on the outside that Kimura was also the world's biggest pervert, as his appearence as a hollow-faced, slack-jawed weirdo seems to attest. Thankfully, that perversion seems to be limited to voyouristic tendencies, which doesn't comfort Kaorin much, since he seems very interested in her. The oddest thing is that Kimura is also a happily married man with a daughter, and he is very attentive to them.

Kaorin

Kaorin is one of the oddball students of Azumanga Daioh. She is a member of the astronomy club, and often goes to astronomy camp on summer breaks. She is absolutely fanatical about Miss Sakaki... you could say that she may be IN LOVE with Sakaki. However, she is also bashful, and has not told her how she feels. The one person she DOESN'T like is Kimura, who has taken an unhealthy fascination with Kaorin.

Kagura

Very atheletic, Kagura is a member of the high school's swim team, and for the first year of high school was a member of Minamo Kurosawa's class. However, in her second year, she was transfered to Yukari Tanazaki's class, where she remained for the remainder of the series in high school (mostly because Yukari wanted to deny Minamo any advantage in future sports festivals). Although at first a rival to Sakaki, Kagura quickly became friends with the other girls in Yukaris class.
