          Chickens & Ducks

Here are the Chickens(aka. The Girls)...

Chickens.jpg

Can't say too much about these chicks except that they lay absolutely wonderful eggs(and yes, they ARE brown).  Anyways, these are Andrea's "girls" I think there about 13 of them.

The Ducks...

New010.jpg

Here you have the ducks.  Yes they are both males, and yes they both have attitude.  They will chase you a soon as you turn away from them and go for your ankles.  But when you turn around to chase them away they turn out to be the real "chickens"!

          Bunnies

Now aren't they just the cutest little things you've ever seen.  These guys you don't hear much of, they are very independent, so there really isn't all that much to say.  Basically they are fed and watered every day and thats about all.  But, you have to admit, when you see them you just want to cuddle.

          Manuel & Elmer

Manuel is a Miniature Donkey, he is just a tad larger than Ben; the Saint Bernard. He shouldn't be getting too much bigger if at all. Of course he is still a baby only 2 years old. Most of the horses would rather have nothing to do with him as he may eat them while they aren't looking . So he is a bit of a loner at the moment.

Elmer is the new member on the farm.  He was Andrea's birthday present.  He is only about 7 months old at this time.  He loves to be scratched along his back and on his bum.  He adores eating anything put in front of him, and he hates being carried.  He would rather walk/trot on his own.  So everyone meet Elmer our Pot Bellied Piggy.

Just to show you how small Manuel really is we got a picture of him by Ben, the Saint Bernard...

          Ben

This is Ben...

BenLeading.jpgBenUpright.jpg

Ben is the most slobbery dog you'll ever meet.  I mean he really is very cute and all but by the time you are done playing with him, you either have hair all over your clothes or slobber all over EVERYTHING.  I think he is about a year old and he is absolutely gigantic; he lives in the barn, in a horse stall.  When you play with him he loves to jump on you, knock you over, then sit or lay down on you.  Attempting to push him off is useless considering he thinks you're playing and doesn't get off...and he is incredibly heavy.  Oh, and Ben wouldn't hurt a fly, although he might...but not on purpose!!!  Syd and I have also found that because of his lack of good eye-site he growls at things he hasn't seen before...like a pole...in the ground...in a totally different field, its too funny.
