Joshua Vine has been shooting photos for the vast majority of his life. Those who know him, know that he has a passion for photography. Through a variety of photo journalistic, classic, and fresh newer styles, Joshua has learned to portray different mood through his images sometimes adding that extra sparkle of life.
Joshua has won many awards over the years, including Best in class for his age group several times at the Paris fair, which boasted 2690 photo entries this past year. Other awards include, most points in the transparencies sections, a tie for the most points in his age group, a second in a stiffer competition in Kitchener for one of his digitally manipulated photos, and numerous other firsts.
Joshua's initial interest in photography came from his father who has enjoyed taking photos as a hobby for some time. Currently Joshua is learning through a correspondence course bases in New York city. The New York Institute of Photography is credited as being Americas oldest and largest photography school, and has been educating photographers since 1910. The particular course that Joshua is enrolled in is entitles "The Complete Course in Professional Photography" and covers many areas of photography, from the basic skills, to the challenges of shooting a wedding, to setting up poses for portraits and just about everything in between. It also includes valuable information about business keeping and business forms and using photography as a career. It does this through many lesson books containing photos and text, all with audio teaching to accompany them, and through video DVDs. This truly is a multimedia course.
