Serving God

What's New?

Hey There!
Everything’s going very well here at BMW.  The new students have gotten acquainted with the BMW schedule and the workings of it all.  It’s so nice to have some new and fresh enthusiasm to restore and re-energize us all as a student body.
This has been a very difficult term for me thus far.  I’m struggling in keeping up with the work as most of the classes are heavily outside reading.  Being a slow reader, the homework has been somewhat difficult and discouraging.  Please pray that I’ll be able to focus and get everything done well and quickly!  We also have many papers and projects that have recently been assigned.  Oh well – at least I’ll be learning a lot come this next month!
I’m back in the Graphics department and I’m really enjoying it.  I can’t believe that only a year ago I had absolutely no idea how to do anything graphics-related and now God’s given me the ability and training to do more than I could ever have imagined before.  I’m excited to see what else I’ll be able to get under my belt this year.
During my free time, I’ve been going on bike rides and runs.  Not only do they help keep me in shape, they also prove to be a good time of solitude to get my thoughts in order and have a bit of time with God.  I’ve also gotten involved in my church here in Merritt Island.  I’m on the set up and break down crew for the evening worship service for young adults.  It’s such a blessing to be able to serve.  Myself and two other students are also trying to start a life group for the church.  A life group is kind of like a Bible study/event that the church members can attend.  We’re focusing our event on outdoor sports being that we have acres and acres of property to work with.  I’m very excited to get it started.  Please pray that everything will work out and we’ll be able to be a blessing to the church and the people that comet to the life group.
To be completely honest, I’ve been struggling a bit spiritually.  I’m not completely sure why it is so: perhaps because I’ve just come off of a spiritual mountain top over the summer.  Please keep me in your prayers that I will continue to seek God and to pursue holiness for His glory.  Praise the Lord – even though I’m struggling, God’s provision and love is still evident in my life and He is still showing Himself to me in subtle ways.
The student body is leaving this Friday night and we’re driving up to Dayton, Ohio to work on a church there.  We’ll be doing renovations and fixing it up so that it can be sold and used.  It is located in a bad part of town so it will be very beneficial to have a church in the area.  Keep us in our prayers for diligence and safety.  Also pray for those who will be effected by our work and the work and the work of the church.  After spending two weeks in Ohio, we’ll be driving to Indiana for a leadership conference.  We will be there for a week before returning back to Florida.
Thank you all so much for your continued prayers and support.  I am so appreciative and I pray that I can be a blessing to y’all in return.  Thank you!  I am really touched and uplifted by y’all.  God Bless!  – Love Allie

About Me

My name is Allie Kozlowski and I am currently training to be a missionary. I am from Wantage, New Jersey, but I am now going to school in Merritt Island Florida. I am attending a Bible school which is a part of Teen Missions International (refer below). It is called Florida Free Bible, Missionary & Work (BMW) Training Center. Here, I am studying the Bible and learning many useful skills that I will use in my future as a missionary.

God has placed a definite call on my life to be a full-time missionary. I have been on four trips so far: Australia, Zambia, Madagascar, Belize, and Egypt.  I have such a heart for the people that I work with and I have a zeal for serving God. After my schooling, I will complete a one-year internship at any Teen Missions base in the world, and then I will begin my full-time service.

This site is a way for me to stay in touch with family, friends, churches, supporters, and any one else who stumbles upon it. I hope that it can be a blessing to you. I have information about all of my trips, what is happening here at BMW and in my own life, and what God is teaching me. I will make weekly updates as to how I am doing and what God is teaching me.  Enjoy! God Bless! Love Allie
