Exhibition held in Brighton 2001 The Methodist Church Collection of Moden Christian Art has been described as "the most outstanding collection of modern religious art in Europe outside the Vatican and is based at the Wesley and Methodist Studies Centre, Oxford Brookes University."

"The (Guildford) Cathedral’s Lent exhibition during 2008 was from the Methodist Church Collection of Modern Christian Art.

This year’s Lent Course led by the Dean and the Bishop of Guildford is based on paintings from the exhibition. For

further details regarding the Lent Course which is being held on Wednesday evenings please contact the

Cathedral reception. We would like to thank: the Golsoncott Foundation, the Bishop of Guildford, Canon

Angela Weaver and the local Methodist circuit for their kind generosity in helping to stage this exhibition."
