With only one chinchilla left here, my large cage is now up for sale.

$125 if I have to sand and clean it well.
$100 if you supply the elbow grease! Comes with one metal pan. I had planned to put plexiglass (or something) on the bottom at a later date. Each part of the cage had a shelf for them to perch on and hardware for one chew toy to hang from. Lots of room to make this cage into your own chinchillas perfect habitat!

We have had to part with all but one chinchilla. That was a very hard decision to make and one I struggled with daily. Finding them homes was a roller coaster in itself, but I do feel they ended up where they were all supposed to be. Thanks to all who have provided them with a great home!

I awoke this morning to a wonderful surprise .... new kits! Two so far. I missed the second kit being born by probably just minutes!! Mom was HUGE, so I expected more than 2 kits. I will check back later to see if we have more!
More details and photos will be coming soon!

Today, with a big thanks to Tina, we added to our chinchilla herd.
Meet Pepper ......

a gorgeous black velvet male.
His honey Paprika .....

a standard gray female.
And their baby .....

She remains un-named. Any suggestions? Anyone?
