Welcome to my newly refurbished website, offering instrument lessons and studies in music theory - Click on one of the buttons on the left to be transported to information regarding your instrument of choice. About me: I teach electric, acoustic & bass guitar at Nottingham High School for Girls. I also have a number of private students (aged 4 to 44), who either visit me in my studio at my house in Mapperley (close to city centre, Arnold, Carlton, Gedling & Woodthorpe) or I visit them in the comfort of their own home. I’ve been playing music since I was 9 years old, and in latter years I went to Confetti Studios and gained a HND in sound recording and engineering, and am now studying classical music at the Open University. I’ve been gigging and recording with various bands on the local scene, and have recorded sessions for the likes of Lorna, Emily Moon, Confetti Studios and Nottingham University. In collaboration with other music teachers in Nottingham, we have founded the Nottingham Rock Festival, an opportunity for all our students to perform on stage for their friends and family. This will be happening on Jan 15th next year. More details will be posted here soon!
