TUITION:

I teach Electric, Classical, Acoustic and Bass Guitar.

I also teach Double Bass and the Piano

I teach Guitar at Nottingham Girls' High School and Nottingham Trent University. I also travel around North Nottingham to teach students in their own homes.

No two guitar students are the same, so let me know what you would like to learn. Choices include: -

Musical styles: Rock, pop, blues, indie, jazz, metal, soul, funk, reggae, folk, classical, flamenco - anything goes!
Techniques: Improvisation, finger picking, plectrum style, slide guitar
Grades: From Preliminary, through Grade 8 to Diploma
Theory and composition
Reading music: Chord progressions, tablature, treble and bass clef

I have been teaching guitar for 6 years and all my students who have taken guitar exams have passed. Those taking grade 6 and above have earned UCAS points :)

REPAIRS AND SETUP

If your electric, acoustic, bass or classical guitar needs a little TLC, please contact me. I can do:

Repairs on damaged or missing parts. Soldering on electrical components
String replacement and tuning
Setup and Intonation: Adjustments to the truss bar, bridge and saddles

I will also buy any guitar in need of repairs or replacment parts
