The Absolute Alithea

Man is always in search of the Truth as there is this "void" or empty feeling inside that seeks to know more.  ALITHEA is a greek word for TRUTH and I've always loved that word since that day I learned of it when I was still studying in the Bible Seminary back in the 80's.  I think I can still read greek words with a little brushing and polishing. :-)

ABSOLUTE-- there will only be one absolute TRUTH... that sole Truth that never changes. That sole Truth than can fill the empty space in a man's heart, i.e., his spirit.  That sole Truth is never partial Truth or half-Truth for such terms are considered unsound and illogical.  Truth will always be Truth. Period.

A seemingly Truth is a deception. A fallacy. 

There are different theories concerning the Truth. Different concepts. Different Laws. Different Philosophies.

Here are some thoughts:

What is Truth?

Is it true that we exist? To think about the answer proves we exist. Existence proves the state of reality. And to think about yourself, proves reason. These are two axioms or undeniable facts; I exist, and I reason.

Truth: is an expression, symbol or statement that matches or corresponds to its object or referent. Truth must correspond to reality in order to be true.

Absolute Truth: “Something true for all people, at all times and in all places”

I definitely love that!  Absolute ALITHEA is something true for all.....AT ALL TIMES.

Let me then share this-- this ABSOLUTE ALITHEA is a Person.  His name is JESUS as He said in John 14:6 " I am the Way, the Truth and the Life..."

Jesus definitely corresponds to reality and never changes at any dispensation of time!

You can experience Him, feel Him, talk to Him and most especially enjoy this life walking with Him.  As He has done amazing things in the past, He continues to do great things today especially to those who committed their lives to Him.

It has been a long journey for me.  I'm glad Jesus never change.  I'm glad Jesus is faithful.  I'm glad God is always true.  The journey prepared me for a surprising tomorrow.  The journey prepared my heart on what lies ahead.  No fears, no doubts.  As the prophet of old said, "Here I am, Lord, send me!"

I'm excited! New things are coming my way!  Hallelujah!
