Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today...
Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace...
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world...
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one
Entering:
A black forest stands in front of you. You have just traversed across the mountains, the Barren Fields, the Dead Valley, or perhaps even the Lava Clearing. You stand there, trying to decide whether you enter the forest or turn back and go on your way. Deciding to enter the wooded area, you nerve yourself and cautiously step forward; nothing happens. You come closer to the dark forest. The wind picks up abruptly and a scent fills your nares. A massive, ebonite she-wolf steps out of the shadows, seeming to just materialize there, because the shade of her fur blended in with the black gloom of the forest remarkably well. Countless scars riddled her dark pelt and her eyes, which were a malevolent and gleaming blood red, were trained solely upon you.
You step back in alarm as the fatale circles you slowly. Her scent is strong and dominant; not surprising since she is the alpha female. Other wolves of various colors step out of the shadows, watching the two of you. These wolves are from the different packs of the female’s land. Some of their scents ride over the others’ and those scents belonged to the other alphas that stood behind her, glaring at you. But the female circling you had the most prominent scent. Obviously she was the reigning alpha. Your eyes hold fear in them as the Alphena continues to circle you; a hint of determination residing in your gaze as well.
You stand up, still keeping yours ears flat against your skull and your head down as well as your tail. The she-wolf stops in front of you and watches you stand up. Her tail flicks behind her and her head is much higher than your own. Seeing this exhibition of her authority, you lower yourself to the ground in instant respect. She nods, accepting the fact that you’ve surrendered to her but still glares at you with those murderous orbs.
Her maw opens and a bitter, unsympathetic voice issues from her larynx. “Who are you and why are you trespassing on my territory?” You remain low to the ground as you think about her question. Her eyes narrow and you shiver in fear. She looks to the others. “This wolf is to be kept in the lands until he provides a sufficient answer to my question...He is to be fed and hydrated but not talked to--“
“Wait, Good Alphena.” You say fervently. The female stops and looks at you. “What?” You take a deep breath and state your name and the reason that you are there. She continues to glare at you but not so much now.
“Fine, wolf. You may stay on these lands, but know this. You cause any trouble, and I’ll personally see you off of the terra. Understand?” You nod quickly. A smirk passes over her maw. “Good.” She looked at the other wolves and nodded. They turned and went back to their own activities. The she-wolf looked at you, then turned and began to enter the forest.
“Wait...Miss...What is your name?” She stops and looks back at you. “Avernus.”She said quietly. With that, she bounded into the forest, leaving you alone once more.
