A marble spiral staircase, fitted with child safety gates, leads from the ground floor hall to the lounge/dining room and kitchen upstairs. The stairs are not steep and there are hand rails on both sides, so these shouldn't be a problem if you are an older guest.

The Lounge/Dining Room

The spacious (7.5m x 4.5m) lounge/dining room has a feature fireplace with a fan-assisted log burning fire. Three comfortable sofas provide amble seating for eight people.  Three sets of patio doors lead from the lounge to the broad balcony terrace, which curves around two sides of the lounge.

The Balcony

A very popular feature of Casa Alimas is the broad balcony that curves around the upstairs lounge/dining room.  It is accessed from three patio doors, is partially covered and it's equipped with plenty of patio furniture.

Here you can enjoy an alfresco meal - with easy access from the kitchn, or you can use the built-in barbecue.

There are stunning views over Luz, the Black Rock and the Atlantic Ocean.
