Deli was born in 1979 and in the 2005/2006 season she did a full Pony Club calendar, finishing up at the final ribbon day with 4 trophies!! Next season her rider plans to pass her C certificate with her. She has been a superb second pony for a number of different riders and has competed successfully in a variety of disciplines, particularly eventing and showjumping, as well as being the best friend of children who continue to visit her even though they may now be grown up with children of their own!!! She gave me 2 foals, a colt who was gelded and sold on and a filly, Al Habiib Fersari.

Dream was also a very successful second pony, however one of her riders was more interested in showing so back in the 80s Dream was consistently in the ribbons at A & P shows as well as Arab shows. At the latter she was usually in the line up for champion both in hand and ridden, one time winning the ridden championship and being runner up in hand. She has given me a filly to continue her line, Al Habiib Ferisha.

Sari was my mount last year. We did a number of PNH clinics and I had a lot of fun riding her at the beach. So this spring she will be put to Das for her first foal.
She is by Gai Cadet so her bloodlines are 3/4 Gainey as her dam is by Gai Aristocrat. The other quarter is strongly Crabbet silver family as her granddam was a double Silver Sparkle mare.

Ferisha is this summers project!! She is the only offspring of the stallion "Shades of Grey" who was in New Zealand for two seasons. I saw a bit of him on video and instantly knew I had to use him - as it turns out she has the most exceptional movement of all my horses. It is so powerful as well as being dead straight. To see her careen around the paddocks, up and down the hills, is amazing. The thrust from behind is incredible, it will be interesting to see if I can sit there when riding her later on!!!
Her sire was bred by Peter Wright of She Oaks in Australia and combines the Polish The General with Oxford Stud lines. Those horses were also known for their movement. Shades of Grey is a half brother to Shadowy Night who competes very successfully in the show rings of Queensland.

I made a special trip to the South of the South Island in 1996 to see the Bremervale importations made by Jan Wilson and I fell in love with Tequila and Dasjendi. Now, 10 years later they both live here with me!!!
Tequila has 50% Spanish lines, her sire being Destinado leased by Bremervale for 2 years from Bru Mar Ba stud in the US. Her dam is the Oxford Decimus daughter, Bremervale Taasimus so the combination of her and Das is the mingling of the "old" Bremervale lines. It will be interesting to see the foal they have, due September/October 2006.
23.9.06 A lovely chestnut filly foal was born this morning. As dainty as a cobweb so she will be called Al Habiib Telarana which is Spanish for "cobweb".
