Lets be honest, Halo combat evolved was the best game ever. It had a fresh story, and a great concept. It was full of twists and the overall lack of shown emotion a real war contains, It just felt right to play and made us rethink modern shooters. Halo 2 on the other hand is just like Halo one but flawed, it just doesn’t feel right to play unless online. Here is my review

The greatest aspect of the game. The music took great music which flowed perfectly with Halo one and added electric guitars and made it more intense. On top of that it kept most of the good music. The sounds in the game were close to Halo other than tiny improvements like the flood shrieks and covenant dialogue. Overall just what it should have been.

Halo 2 has one of the worst stories of a game I’ve ever seen. The beginning was pretty good up until the covenant came to earth and instead of showing any emotion over the eminent end of the human race their voices don’t even quiver. The only good story was on Earth fighting them off. Now I read all three halo books so I have a better understanding of how they found it and why they came. The covenant only land planet-side so they can find artifacts which is why they came to earth for an artifact in Mombasa, Africa. Anyway after they found Halo 2 no pun intended. The story died, it was a repeat of the story, the story behind Halo 2 was good, not groundbreaking and that’s why it gets a 6.

The same thing....the same thing. The same game-play as before, other than some new twists same thing, same exact thing. All it deserves is a 3.

I’ve got to say they were good, perfect other than those annoying pop-ins. Not any more to say other than 8.

Overall great, some minor problems though. The elite named the arbiter annoys the crap out of me. Because this game is supposed to be about one man who can kill anything that moves and is the last of his kind, kick ass... yes. The arbiter on the other hand is no different from anyone, has many of his kind and is having no struggle thereby rendering him useless. I give it a 7.

Once again let me explain this was supposed to be an eleven.... This was a follow up to the best, they delayed it so many times it should have been a twenty out of ten. So where the hell is that first level in the preview, where the hell are my ATV’s, Where’s my snow level and assault rifle, where is the battle for earth. God damn it there are only twenty people on the ground in the game where’s my army, where’s my battle. I’ll tell you Halo 3. But that won’t be out until the toddlers who’s parents bought them Halo 2 have full beards.
