Welcome to The Written Word, a haven for budding writers and rabid readers! The site is run by Alex Harlequin, a self-declared amateur author who is working her way to having her name on a novel cover, but for now is absorbed in fanfiction and poetry.
On this site there is information about any and all of her work available to the public eye, challenges for both fan and original fiction to get authors writing away, recommendations and reviews for other people's work, and other miscellaneous bits and pieces.

Character etc copyrights belong to other people and I am only using them for my enjoyment and hopefully other people's enjoyment. I also happen to be allergic to lawyers, so please don't set any on me without taking the issue up with me first.
One last thing: I don't tolerate meanness. Please don't abuse the guestbook or whatever with flames, spam, and other nasty stuff. You will regret it.
