This site is dedicated to one of the most beautiful women the world has ever known, Alessandra Ambrosio. I only started the site recently so don't expect any miracles....one day, maybe! Anyway, back to Alessandra!!!

Alessandra is one of the leaders of a group of models known as the "Glamazons". She was born and raised by her parents Luiz and Lucie along with her sister Aline in Erechim, Brazil and still calls it her favourite place in the world even though she travels so much. She currently lives in New York but has a second home in Florianopolis (Floripa), Brazil where she spends a lot of her free time.

Alessandra began modelling at the young age of 15 at Dilson Stein modelling school in Brazil. They entered her into Elite Look Of The Year which led to her eventual signing by Elite Model Management. Unlike many of the other brazilian supermodels (Gisele Bundchen, Adriana Lima & Ana Beatriz Barros but to name a few) who were discovered doing everyday things Alessandra always knew she wanted to model. Her first modelling job was Brazilian Elle.

Once established in the modelling world Alessandra eventually moved to New York, the fashion capital of the world. Her big break came with the Guess? millennium campaign when she was featured with fellow brazilian model (and best friend) Ana Beatriz Barros.

Since then she has become one of the highest paid models in the fashion world and is in much demand. Her vast portfolio includes work for many highly regarded designers such as Ralph Lauren, Oscar De La Renta, Gucci, Rolex, Calvin Klein and Escada. She has also earned the status of Victoria's Secret "Angel" as she is one of their most coveted and popular models to date and is on almost every page of their weekly catalogues. She also has a large contract for Next (UK). Her personal favourite shoots include Guess?, Victoria's Secret and the 2004 Pirelli calendar in which she appeared with model, and her boyfriend of 6 years, Marcelo Boldrini.

In the little free time she has Alessandra enjoys doing lots of different sports, some to keep herself toned and fit, others just for fun! When in New York she claims to work out only 2 days a month with her brazilian trainer doing activities such as capoeira (a brazilian fight dance) and the "brazilian butt-lift" and "brazilian tummy tuck". The sports she does for fun include surfing, volleyball and skating. Her passion for surfing took her to the Kelly Slater Celebrity Invitational Surf Contest broadcast on MTV in early 2006 where she earnt 3rd place and a bronze medal.

Her other interests include sunglasses and barbie dolls. She is an avid chocolate and coffee addict too, although prefers the brazilian varieties. Her favourite drinks also include tequilla and caipirinhanas (a native brazilian drink made from cachaca and limes). As far as music goes Alessandra enjoys "alternative" bands such as Nirvana, The Strokes, Nine Inch Nails, INXS and Pearl Jam as well as brazilian music such as brazilian singer Caetano Velozo. Her favourite colour is pink, she prefers photoshoots to runway, her favourite designers include Ralph Lauren and D&G and she admits to a celebrity crush on Johnny Depp.

Her future is looking good, she is doing more and more work for Victoria's Secret and rising up the ranks there as well as starting an acting career, look out for her cameo role in the new and highly anticipated James Bond film, Casino Royale.
