This was my first arrowhead.A Kirk Serrated . Archaic period 6000BC.Found 7/16/04

This is a Stanly,it is known as an atlatl(ata*la*tal) point. Archaic 4500BC. Found by me on 7.29/04

This is a little PeeDee projectile. Late Carolina Woodland 1700AD.I found this on 8/10/04

These are Indian Paint Rocks. They are hollow inside (see arrow pointing to broken half) and contain colored powder. The Indians would break the rocks in half and add water to the powder inside and use it to paint their faces.

These are various pieces of what I believe is a pipe. I was walking down a trail in my backyard one day and saw what I thought was pottery sticking up.Well I realized it went deeper than just the surface. So I began to dig around it and I noticed it was very long like a pipe! And also very brittle, because even though I was digging around it as I would free up parts of it it would break off.But I was able to keep the segments from breaking further. As you can see by the arrow they are smooth and cylinder shaped on the inside.

It may not look it, but this could possibly be a tool. The Indians used to use heavy smooth stones like this one as Hammerstones. This was also found in my back yard.Whether or not it is authentic or just another rock is anybody's guess LOL.

These are various patterned pottery fragments I have collected over the past 3 months or so.

This rim shard is the largest piece of pottery I have found thus far. Found 9/17/04

A sampling of the shavings and bits I have collected over the past 5 or so years.

These are some of my better points and pieces.
Special thanks and shoutout goes to Lane Adams for his help in identifying the three projectile points above aswell as his steering me in the direction of the Piedmont Archealogical Society's website for the time dating. Thanx again Lane!!!
