Kim Kardashian to get paid for her sex tape

Kim Kardashian and porn peddlers at Vivid Entertainment have
reportedly settled their dispute over distribution of Kim’s sex
video with ex-boyfriend, R&B singer Ray J.

30 April 2007 (sawf News) - Kim Kardashian and porn peddlers at Vivid
Entertainment have settled their dispute over distribution of Kim's
sex video with ex-boyfriend, R&B singer Ray J, reports Us Weekly
Vivid, who had bought the tape from an unidentified source for $1
million, will pay Kim close to $5 million and cease distribution of
the video by the end of May.
"Kim is relieved that she can now move on from this embarrassing
chapter in her life," says a Kardashian pal.
Kardashian had filed a lawsuit against Vivid Entertainment in February
when the company revealed its intent to distribute the sex video,
claiming it would violate her "right to privacy."
It has been suggested that Kim, who is the daughter of O.J. Simpson
lawyer Robert Kardashian, was party to the planned distribution of the
tape and her lawsuit against Vivid was a ruse to ratchet up the demand
for it.
A rep for Vivid couldn't immediately be reached for comment.
