I am an associate professor of instructional technology, South Valley University, Egypt, and currently work at Sultan Qaboos University, Oman (2006-present). In 1998, I was awarded a full doctoral sponsorship to the United Kingdom, by the Egyptian Government. In 2002, I received my Ph.D. in instructional technology from the University of Hull. Within the last three years I have published many papers on on-line learning and distance education and my current research includes: the measurement of attitudes toward personal use and school use computers among Egyptian teachers and individual readiness of university staff to develop and implement e-learning approaches. I teach many courses in instructional computer and distance education for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
