This is something from Ghraal that he found on the net in old DS information. Its an RP thing for Elders.

Elders are mystical individuals of great wisdom, magical prowess and extensive historical knowledge. Alienated from their homelands, they strive to shape this world by their magic into a powerful radiant where they may live comfortably throughout Eternity.
Personality: An Elder’s lifespan may cover thousands of years, and as a result, generalizations as to the nature of personality of this race are difficult at best, as each soul is a sum of its many and varied experiences. Important parts of an Elder’s lifetime journey may include:
occurring early in life to establish the purpose of one’s existence. This is usually a short amount of time (roughly one – three years) and is only undertaken by very young Elders.
History: In the earliest of times, they were the Sidhe, the Seelie, the Fae/Fey, the Elfin, the Eldar or the Elder race, and many others. Their form was luminous, ethereal and diverse, living in a gaseous world that they shaped to their will. As millions of years passed, the world began to solidify. When humans first appeared, it was then that Elders had the opportunity to depart or remain in their ethereal realms. Many did, but a great number chose to gradually assume the physical forms that they wear today. When Elders die, their souls are reincarnated. It is rare, but not impossible that some Elders, who have reincarnated many times, may possess faint, foggy memories of previous reincarnations.
Physical Description: Elders have the spirits and the souls of elves and sidhe, but their bodies could pass as human. They are taller than elves, (almost as tall as humans) but much more slender and willowy. Some describe their slim build as gaunt and cadaverous; others call them sinuous and lean. Their features are often described as ageless, and unchanging. Elders do indeed change, but the change is very slow and very little. A century in the life of an Elder may equate to one month in the life of a human. Hence, an Elder may appear to be forever youthful.
Elder eyes are quite distinctive and much wider than a human or elven eye. Some possess brilliantly colored irises, with a blossom-effect, resembling the petals on a daisy or zinnia, perhaps a throw back to when Elder blood mingled with Fey. Others lack irises, having only eggshell-white orbs with tiny cat-like pupils. Other Elder eyes resemble human eyes, save for tiny teardrop shaped pupils. All Elders have remarkably long, thick fringes of eyelashes and upward-swept, arched brows.
Their hair is either pale, blushing with a hint of red-gold, or as black as a moonless night. The majority of them always keep it long and flowing. Some cut it short for various reasons, and a few have been know to shave it completely away, leaving their heads bald and smooth. Their skin is a pearly white. Depending on an individual’s state of enlightenment, their skin may appear luminescent, as if glowing from within. All Elders possess a faint halo around their heads. An Elder halo is not a solid band of golden light, but a very faint mist-like glow that may change in color depending on mood, sensation or emotion. Elder halos may appear in all the colors of a pastel rainbow, and are faint and pale. A non-Elder must look very, very closely to detect an Elder halo.
Their advanced development has afforded them the luxury of continuous levitation. When they used to walk, they had long striding gaits that were graceful, lithe and flowing. Elders are still capable of walking, but to do so is seen as beneath them, as less than Elder.
Their clothing style depends on their interests. Having advanced psyches, magic and psychic work comes naturally to the Elders and their superior powers set them apart from most races. Hence, the majority of Elders may wear long, flowing robes. Their ever-present halos, or auras, change in color with respect to individual emotion and state of enlightenment.
Relations: Outside of the guilds, Elders tend to be loners, exiles, pirates or renegades. Others wander as mystics, soothsayers or retreat as hermits in the pursuit of knowledge. Elders maintain meticulous mental records, cherishing the past while wielding it as a weapon against future mistakes. It has been said that long ago, Elders courted madness on their quests for knowledge. Some say they court it still.
Elders possess a full-blown racial hatred of humans. They see humans as bumbling creatures, full of ignorance, confusion and disregard. To be caught associating with a human carries the possibility of permanent exile from the local Elder kin. Elders feel that the ways of humans are erroneous and their bad reincarnations may taint other souls, sap memories and pollute the Old Ways. Any human crossbreed, such as a half-elf may be met with the same disregard as humans.
Elders view Shadows with great suspicion and distrust. As Shadows are inclined to manipulate races, Elders tend to keep a watchful eye on any and all Shadows who enter their domain.
Over the centuries, the most intelligent individuals of all races have applied for membership within Elder guilds. The elite are chosen to endure comprehensive, rigorous mental training that hales them as masters of spell craft across the lands. As warriors, Elders are quick and nimble, but physical strength does not come easily to them.
Alignment: Most Elders prefer law and order, but the renegades and outcasts may choose chaos and disorder as the true ways to harness their will.
Homelands: There are many theories as to the origins of the Elder race, but only within each Elder’s heart, may one discover their individual manifestation. Being ancient souls, each weaves a different web, a different story as they tread a well-worn path through the mists of time. Most non-Elders believe that long ago, this race became embroiled in a bitter conflict and because of this, divided into civil war. Some migrated to this plane to escape the conflict; others journeyed here out of curiosity or their individual quest for knowledge. The pathway closed, leaving some Elder forever trapped in this place. It is speculated that some would return immediately to their homeland, if only the pathway would open again. However, the majority of Elders believe that they did not assume a physical form because of the conflict within their race; rather, they believe that the race fell into conflict when they entered the material world.
In this age, most Elders live within guild communities, reside in the wilds as hermits, travel solo across the lands or lock themselves away in towers or great halls to follow their course of study.
Religion: With their ageless wisdom, Elders have the potential to become great clerics, but most choose not to do so, choosing science over faith. Elder souls reincarnate, achieving various states of enlightenment, attained by the pursuits and accomplishments of each lifetime.
Language: Due to their extended lifespan, quests for knowledge and exposure to countless cultures, races and beings, some now extinct, some surviving, Elders often acquire a great many languages. It is not uncommon for the average Elder to speak at least seven languages.
Names: As Elders have traveled centuries, millennia, and perhaps even eons, their names are many and varied. Elders formally greet each other by preceding the name with the race, such as “Greetings Elder Miaadah” or “Hello Elder Tieseyn.”
After completion of important trials in an Elder’s life, an Elder may add an additional title to their name if they wish. Titles elevate the status of an individual within the Elder community. Examples:
Adventures: Outside of the guilds, Elders tend to be loners, exiles, pirates or renegades, leaving them free to chance any adventure they should see fit to follow. Others wander as mystics, soothsayers or retreat as hermits in the pursuit of knowledge. Elders may seek adventure in groups, but rarely mingle with other races when the possibility of bloodshed is a grim reality.
