It was just after her descent to the world below, and she took on the form of a human being. Her body was created out of the shattered crystals, which protected  and embodied her pure innocent soul. She has gained a shell, however, she has yet to experience life in the realm to where she has fallen to. Never did she have a home to return to, nor a memory or past to revisit. Now, she will travel on in this new land without a clear path, and only her instinct shall guide her to her destiny.

The white cross symbolizes purity and innocence, which is her innermost being-- one whose heart is untainted by malice and darkness. And yet it is bound by a red rose with thorns. Such represent the lust for beauty and power, which in turn has a double-edge sword effect-- by achieving something, one must sacrifice another(located at nape). In each corner, there are leaflets surrounding the seal which serve as its shield or protector. These are phases or forms in which the medium  utilizes to withhold the darkness lurking deep within herself. Such darkness is the same matter which seals her true nature as well.

Rei, as the first phase (fire), can surfaces at her own will. She is actually Takashi's twin sister (soul) which serves as her conscience. Whenever Takashi would feel lost, Rei guides her. In times of danger, she would surface to battle against their foes with her dark magic.

Eiko is the second form (water). She is much like Takashi, herself, only that her physical appearance changes and her mood becomes lighter. Her hair turns bright as platinum blond, and her eyes to sapphire. Thru this phase, it enables her to use her light magic at their outmost capacity.

Case is the third and only male form, both in body and mind (wind). She uses this form only when she feels supressed emotionally. She hides behind this facade to maintain a calm state. While in this form, her intellectual ability is enhanced, as well as her skills in combat with or without weapons in hand.

Taki is the fourth and final phase (earth). In this form, she appears to be a mere child no older than ten years old, physically and mentally. It is through this form where her senses are heightened, as well as her speed and agility. However, as this is the last seal, it is the weakest and most prone among all. She returns to her state of innocence, and may easily be decieved by the tempting voice of the whisper-- the ghost of the darkness within her. If she is to surrender to the voice, then she will fall to its wrath, unleashing the curse of the demon's blood which flows within her veins...
