Jak and Daxter: The precursor Legacy
..................................................................................................................................................................................
Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy is the first video game in the Jak and Daxter series. Set on an unnamed planet, the two characters begin the game as elf-like mischief-makers who are directly disobeying the advice of the Green Sage, Samos. He has warned them to stay away from a mysterious island called Misty Island, home to a legion of creatures known as Lurkers. There, the two discover a pair of villains who are using the Lurkers to fulfill an evil plan involving the substance known as Dark Eco. A Lurker commander attacks them and by accident, Jak throws a Red Eco precursor artifact at the Lurker and the ensuing explosion sends Daxter into a pit of Dark Eco, which transforms him into an orange Ottsel (half otter, half weasel). The story unfolds as the duo adventures to find Gol Acheron, a sage of Dark Eco who may have the powers to help Daxter return to normal, as well as fight the menace of Lurkers. Throughout the game, Daxter jokes about Jak being a mute; however, in Jak II and III, Jak's personality becomes much darker and more mysterious and he utters more than just lighthearted phrases.

Jak and Daxter holds many similarities to platform games such as Ratchet & Clank, Sly Cooper and Crash Bandicoot. This is true in not only the similar styles of gameplay, but in that the ongoing objective is to complete specified tasks and collect items. The game is different, however, by way of the openness and flow of the game world and its common mechanic of utilising Eco, a substance which has various uses in both gameplay and story. Here, the completed goals give Power Cells as a reward upon completion, which are needed to progress to new areas in the game world. If 100 out of 101 are collected, an alternate, canonical ending is given.
The story begins with Samos master of Green. He speaks, however cryptically, on the Precursors, the masters of the universe and creators of all life on the planet, but still questioning their existence, Samos is searching for answers. He elaborates on two young boys, the fifteen-year-old Jak, and his best friend Daxter. The two are making their way to Misty Island, the one place Samos told them not to go.

They arrive on the island just in time to witness a large gathering of Lurkers before two twisted figures. Jak and Daxter, worried by what they are seeing, are on their way off of the island when they are confronted by a pool of Dark Eco. While his friend inspects the pool, Jak locates a small Eco barrel. When they go to leave, however, a Lurker Commander attacks them.
Jak kills the Lurker using the Eco barrel, but the explosion throws Daxter into the Dark Eco pit. Daxter flies back out of the pit, unharmed, but changed from his previous form; he had been transformed into an Ottsel. They return to Sandover Village and seek help from Samos, but he proclaims that he couldn't help Daxter, even if he wanted to. He adds that only Gol Acheron, Sage of Dark Eco can help change Daxter back, and he lives far to the north.
The route north is blocked by Fire Canyon, and to traverse it Jak and Daxter need a Zoomer vehicle powered by a heat shield. Keira, Samos' daughter, happened to have made one.
They begin their adventure into the dangerous parts of their strange land in search of power cells. They soon recover enough power cells to power the heat shield and journey through Fire Canyon aboard their Zoomer. At the end of the canyon is Rock Village, which has been destroyed by a giant Lurker named Klaww. In addition to this, the Blue Sage who watches over the village has mysteriously vanished.

Jak and Daxter find themselves in search of more power cells to power an anti-gravity device and unblock the way to Klaww's lair at the peak. After opening a path up the mountain, they defeat Klaww and ride their Zoomer down the mountain to the Volcanic Crater. Jak then makes his way to the Red Sage's laboratory, where he learns that all of the sages (excluding Samos) have been kidnapped by the same figures who command the Lurkers.
The two turn out to be Gol and Maia (Gol's sister), the people who were said to be able to change Daxter back into his normal form. Jak must once again recover Power Cells to fuel an upgraded form of Keira's heat shield. Their task complete, Jak and Daxter use the Zoomer to navigate the Lava Tube to the Yellow Sage's laboratory, where they activate the warp ring so that Keira can come through. Once she arrives, she tearfully relates that Samos has been captured as well.Jak and daxter venture to crystal canyon where they find farted a huge butt.Their reward is a eco blaster which is a huge and powerful gun used to blow up dark eco. Journeying through Gol and Maia's citadel, Jak and Daxter succeed in freeing the Sages, and then travel up an elevator to the top of the Dark Eco Silos. There they confront Gol and Maia who have pieced together the ruins of a Precursor robot in order to open the silos and release the Dark Eco inside. Jak battles the pair, but only defeats them with the help of the four Sages who uses their powers to form a source of Light Eco. Daxter realizes that the Light Eco would change him back to normal, but instead decides to allow Jak to save the world. Jak channels the Light Eco through his body, and beams the energy towards the robot, disabling it and ruining Gol's and Maia's plans.
The two are then locked into the silos and said to be destroyed by the Dark Eco's power but Samos has his doubts about the two being completely destroyed, hinting that they might return.
After the adventure has ended, our heroes find an ancient Precursor Ring near to the silo where Gol and Maia were imprisoned that is explained more in the sequel, Jak II.

SAMOS:
In the great struggle of good versus evil, there is often more to a hero than meets the eye. Just as the plants have their hidden roots, and rocks, when turned over reveal their dark underbelly, with all manner of surprises. So too is the great story of Jak and his epic fight to save Haven City.
Every mother's child has heard the story well, but most have heard only half the tale. For as great as Jak was, he would never have succeeded without his often forgotten but faithful sidekick, Daxter.
In my many years as a sage (and trust me, it's a big number), I've learned one very important truth:
Behind every great hero... there is always a wisecracking.. obnoxious.. ninncompoop!
This is his story.

The game takes place in the final months of the two-year gap presented in Jak II, between the moment when Jak is taken prisoner by the Krimzon Guard and the time in which Daxter finally rescues him. The introduction shows Jak being captured, while Daxter manages to escape. Almost two years later (having no luck of rescuing Jak), Daxter is in a bar, bragging to the patrons about his so-called adventures. Of course, this leaves very little impression on his audience, except for an old man named Osmo, head of the Kritter Ridder Extermination Company, who sees Daxter's potential and offers him a job as an exterminator. Daxter at first refuses the job but the old man mishears Daxter and accidentally imposes the job on him, at which point the game begins. Including Osmo, Daxter meets many characters that give him objectives and jobs to complete. These various jobs take place throughout strip mines, a distillery, a forest, a fish cannery, a construction site, and a hotel. He must also complete many vehicle-related missions, all themed around the extermination of bugs, in addition to mini-games, which are parodies based on popular films such as The Matrix that are unlocked through the course of playing. Towards the end, the game fills in plenty of gaps in order to lead into Jak II, even throwing in some small twists for those familiar with the story of the next game.
Daxter - The player character in the game, Daxter works a part-time job for the Kritter Ridder Extermination Company. His objective is to rescue Jak, who is captured at the beginning of the game and is taken to prison.
Osmo - Owner of the Kritter Ridder Extermination Company (A company that has been in his family for generations), Daxter works for him exterminating metal bugs in numerous places of Haven City.
Ximon - Osmo's son who works for the Kritter Ridder Extermination Company. He is usually seen driving a large green hover-truck.
Taryn - A mysterious woman popping up throughout the game, she seems bent on halting the advance of the metal bug swarms. She provides Daxter with his bug sprayer and its many upgrades.
Kaeden - Metal Kor's right-hand man and large metal head in disguise, he is sent to close down all extermination companies in Haven City so the metal heads can attack. He is the game's antagonist .
Metal Bugs - A smaller version of metal heads. They are the first line of the invasion before the metal heads invade Haven City. These include gigantic 'queens' and smaller, but no less dangerous bugs.
Jak - Seen only four times briefly, he is being experimented on with Dark Eco, and it is up to Daxter to save him.
Also, Jak, Keira, Tess and Samos the Sage can be seen in the epilogue. Jak and Samos also appear in the game in mask form, as well as Daxter in human form, Ratchet, Clank and Sly Cooper. Krew and Onin are also mentioned. Another villain from the past, Gol Acheron, makes a cameo in one of Daxter's "hero" dream fantasies where Daxter is portrayed as Matrix protagonist Neo and Gol is his enemy, Agent Smith. Gol is also portrayed as an English Soldier from Braveheart. Also, the Precursor Robot from Jak 3 can be seen in another dream scene when Daxter is portrayed as Gandalf from Lord of the Rings, and the robot appears as a fire golem being the Balrog and the Lurkers are the Uruk-hai from The Lord of the Rings. Daxter takes the form of Gimli in another minigame. Also, the farmer from The Precursor Legacy appears in the second Matrix dream scene as Morpheus. The Spiders from Jak II and Jak 3 return in the Indiana Jones dream too.

The game contains six bosses, encountered in various locales through the game.
Metal Bug Hive Queen 1 - The first boss in the game, fought in the Transit System.
Metal Bug Hive Queen 2 - A queen bee, fought at the end of the second strip mine.
Emerald Isle Bug - A large insect that is fought in first-person shooter mode.
Metal Kaeden - Fought in the Fortress before rescuing Jak, Kaeden is the final boss in the game.
Two additional bosses are fought in Daxter's dream sequence.
Due to his new job, Daxter is now equipped with an Electro-swatter, which acts as his melee weapon, and an extermination tank, which sprays bug spray (Which many have confused with Green Eco) to stun enemies. The tank eventually receives several modifications, including doubling as a type of jet-pack that allows Daxter to fly, flamethrower capabilities, and an ultrasonic attachment. The flamethrower modification allows Daxter to hover higher and longer in jet-pack mode. With the ultra-sonic attachment, Daxter can shoot a projectile resembling a blue grenade that causes high radial damage, but uses one fifth of the player's maximum bug spray.
Daxter was a human-like persona from Sandover Village, and a friend of Jak. In the beginning of Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak and Daxter are making their way to Misty Island, the one place Samos told them not to go. They arrive on the island just in time to witness a large gathering of Lurkers being commanded by two twisted people. Jak and Daxter, worried by what they have seen, are on their way off the island when they are confronted by a pool of Dark Eco. While Daxter inspects the pool, Jak locates a small Red Eco barrel. When they go to leave, however, a Lurker Commander attacks them. Jak throws the caustic barrel at the lurker and kills it, but the explosion throws Daxter into the Dark Eco pit. Daxter flies back out of the pit, unharmed, but has been changed into an ottsel, a mix of an otter and a weasel. They return to Sandover Village and seek help from Samos, Sage of Green Eco, but he proclaims that he couldn't help Daxter, even if he wanted to. He adds that only Gol Acheron, Sage of Dark Eco, can help change Daxter back, but he lives far to the north. Thus, Jak and Daxter embark on a journey to find Gol. Unfortunately, it turns out that Gol, and his sister Maia, were corrupted by Dark Eco, and were the two twisted people Jak and Daxter saw at Misty Island. At the near end, Jak battles Gol and Maia, and defeats them with the help of the four Eco Sages who combine their powers to form White Eco. Daxter realizes that the light Eco would change him back to normal. He is now forced to make a tough decision. He decides to allow Jak to save the world and stay an ottsel forever.
Daxter is the secondary character from the Jak and Daxter video game series. He is also Jak's sidekick.
In the beginning of Daxter while inside a bar, Daxter is bragging to the patrons about his so-called adventures. Of course, this leaves very little impression on his audience, except for an old man named Osmo, head of the Kridder Ridder Extermination Company, who sees Daxter's potential and offers him a job as an exterminator. Daxter is uncertain, but Osmo manages to persuade him into the job. He then completes various bug-related jobs throughout some of the city while trying to find Jak and free him from prison, and thwarting the plans of the evil Kaiden and the metal bugs.In Jak II, almost immediately after the events recounted in Daxter, he finds Jak and helps him break out of Baron Praxis' prison.![]()
In Jak II, almost immediately after the events recounted in Daxter, he finds Jak and helps him break out of Baron Praxis' prison. They meet up with a group of Resistance fighters, where Daxter meets a girl named Tess, who likes him a lot, despite being an Ottsel. At the end of the game Daxter turns the Hip Hog Saloon into THE NAUGHTY OTTSEL. It displays pictures of Daxter. In Jak II, he can Play a Metal Mash Game, which is similar to Whac-A-Mole.
During Jak 3, he finds out that ottsels are the fabled Precursors in the Jak and Daxter mythology. When the Precursors grant him a wish at the end of the adventure, he decides to stay as an Ottsel, and only wishes for a pair of pants. The Precursors then creatively interpret a comment by Tess and turn her into an Ottsel as well. Daxter also has the ability to shoot all 12 different weapons while Jak is on a zoomer. If you look closely while Jak is riding the Jet Board, Daxter is riding the Jet Board as well and doing the moves with Jak, so technically Daxter can drive the jet board. Daxter also has the ability to go inside a computer and play a game like Pac Man.

Jak II
......................................................................................................
Jak II takes place in the same science fiction universe as Jak and Daxter, though hundreds of years in the future. The plot largely revolves around happenings in and around Haven City, a dystopia ruled by Baron Praxis and his Krimzon Guard law enforcers. Gates in the city walls open into various different locations which the player is able to access as the game progresses.
The main player character is Jak, the subject of Baron Praxis' "Dark Warrior" project, who can also be transformed into a crazed beast-like human called Dark Jak, who wields a multitude of dark energy-based attacks. Jak's personality is very different from the first game, in which he was mute and much less aggressive. This older version of Jak has a much darker outlook on life, which contrasts with his friend Daxter's more enthusiastic personality. Daxter, an otter-weasel hybrid known as an ottsel, is the game's comic relief. Other important characters include Torn, the second-in-command of the resistance movement known as the Underground; Sig, a Metal Head hunter; Krew, the gang lord; Tess, the barmaid; and Ashelin, the daughter of Baron Praxis who helps the Underground behind her father's back. Baron Praxis and the Metal Head's leader Kor are the story's antagonists, although the Metal Heads ultimately become the main villains after Praxis's death at the hands of their leader, Metal Kor, (Kor in his true form) a gigantic specimen of their species with the ability to shape-shift.
Jak II, subtitled Jak II: Renegade in Europe, is a science fiction platform game developed by Naughty Dog. Released for the PlayStation 2 game console on October 14, 2003, the game is the sequel to Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy and the second game in the Jak and Daxter series. It is followed by Jak 3 a year later.
The game features weapons and gadgets, new playable areas, and a storyline that picks up after the events of The Precursor Legacy. In the game, Haven City, a dystopia ruled under the questionable fist of Baron Praxis, is engaged in a war against a techno-organic group of organisms known as the "Metal Heads". As in the previous game, the player takes on the dual role of recurring protagonists Jak and Daxter. There are also a new array of characters such as Torn, Erol, Krew, Kor, Ashelin, and Sig, as well as some returning ones, such as Samos and Keira.
Jak II is the only game in the series in which the versions for English-speaking regions feature the Japanese and Korean voiceover track. The voiceover cast features many notable seiyūs, including Shotaro Morikubo as Jak. The other games in the series did not follow suit, leaving the voices to be exclusive to the Japanese and Korean regions. However, the Japanese track is not the disk for Jak and Daxter and Jak 3. This is also technically the last Jak and Daxter game to be released in Japan. Jak 3 was completely localized and dubbed in Japanese, but was not released in Japan. It is, however selectable on the Korean release of the game and will play on a Japanese PlayStation 2.
The game takes place directly after the events of the first Jak and Daxter game. Jak, Daxter, Samos, and Keira just finished repairing the Rift Rider and Precursor Ring found in Gol and Maia's Citadel from the previous game. When the Rift Rider is activated, the group are thrown three hundred years forward in time and separated. Jak and Daxter end up in a dystopia called Haven City, where Jak is captured by the Krimzon Guard Commander, Erol, and sent to prison by Baron Praxis. Daxter escapes, however, promising to rescue Jak. This is where the PSP game - Daxter - begins.
Two years later, it is revealed that Jak has been used as a test subject for Baron Praxis' "Dark Warrior" program. This program involves Jak being injected with Dark Eco. Because of this, Jak, with enough Dark Eco, can transform into a destructive form referred to outside of the game as 'Dark Jak'. After breaking out of prison with the assistance of Daxter, Jak joins an underground movement that desires to overthrow Praxis and place the true heir, a young boy called the Kid, onto the throne.

Much of the game revolves around Jak aiding the Underground, while commanded by Torn, the mobster Krew, and later Keira, who is working as a racing mechanic and allows Jak to participate in races for her team. As the plot progresses, it is discovered that Baron Praxis has been working with the Metal Heads to remain in control, and that the Kid, under the protection of a man named Kor, has the ability to open the Tomb of Mar, which contains the Precursor Stone. After successfully locating and passing through the Tomb, Jak and Daxter enter the main room, which houses the Precursor Stone, and learn that the Metal Heads were responsible for destroying the Precursors. The Baron arrives and, despite Jak's efforts, manages to steal the Stone. When Jak arrives back at the Hideout, Torn reveals that he sold the Underground out after Praxis threatened to kill Ashelin if the information about the Underground and its operations was not divulged. It is also found that a younger version of Samos exists in addition to the older one. Through meditation, this younger Samos discovers that Praxis plans to destroy the Precursor Stone, ignorant that this action would destroy the planet in the process.
Following this, Jak enters the Class One racing championship, and claims victory. After his loss, the ex-champion Erol attempts to kill Jak by running him over, but accidentally crashes into barrels of Dark Eco, thus killing himself, though he later returns as a cyborg in Jak 3. Ashelin reveals that Krew is building something for the Baron at a secret weapons factory, which turns out to be a bomb capable of destroying the Precursor Stone as well as the Metal Head nest. Jak then battles Krew, and accidentally sets off the bomb. Ashelin saves Jak and Daxter just before it detonates, leaving Krew to die.
When back at the city, which is now over-run by Metal Heads, Jak confronts Praxis at a construction site. They are interrupted by Kor, who demands the Precursor Stone from Praxis. When the Baron refuses, Kor takes on his true form, that of the Metal Head leader, fatally injures Praxis, and flies off. Before the Baron dies, he reveals a second Piercer Bomb that houses the Precursor Stone, and following his death, Daxter recovers it.

Heading to the Metal Head Nest, Jak and Daxter face Kor, learning he has both the Kid and the Rift Ring. Kor then reveals that the Kid is Jak. He was sent to the Past to grow up and gain the skills to face Kor, but the Dark Eco contamination of the older, teenage Jak means that he cannot activate the Precursor Stone. However, Young Jak, not having been tainted by the Eco, can still release the entity inside. After a climactic battle, the Metal Head Leader attempts to flee through the Ring and crashes into it, decapitating himself and causing the Ring to begin breaking up. Young Jak touches the Stone, to release a being of Light Eco, believed to be a Precursor, who departs through the disintegrating Rift. Keira and the two Samoses arrive with the Rift Rider, which is used to send Young Jak and Young Samos back to the past. The Rift then implodes on itself, leaving the older Jak, Samos, and Keira to live in their proper time within Haven City. The game ends with a victory cinematic at Krew's old bar, now under ownership of Daxter, and re-named the Naughty Ottsel.

Jak 3
......................................................................................................
Jak 3, a massive three-sided war breaks out in Haven City between the Freedom League (the city's new police force, headed by members of the former Underground), an emerging army of Krimzon Guard Death Bots who are led by Erol (who apparently survived from Jak II), and the Metal Heads, regrouped survivors - Jak is thrown out into the Wastelands by Count Veger, head of the city council and one of Baron Praxis's last remaining lieutenants. They have been outcast from Haven, and found by Damas, Ruler of Spargus, a formerly unknown city of outcasts in the wastelands.
As Jak and Daxter work to fulfill the life debt they owe to the city and Damas, they learn that the planet's end is coming, from a harbinger of destruction known as the Day Star. The answer to this impending danger is a planetary defense system, which lies deep in a place known as the Catacombs. As Jak and Daxter work to find their way to this place, so too does Count Veger, who is taking dangerous steps to find the Precursors there and receive great power so that he may live out his fanatical dream of becoming a hero of the universe. When Jak and Daxter make their way back to Haven City, it falls on their shoulders to destroy the Metal Heads and the KG, make their way to the Catacombs before Veger and save the world from the Day Star (darkmaker's ship).
Like its predecessors, Jak 3 takes place in an un-named fictional universe created by Naughty Dog especially for the games. Specifically, it is set in the New World, its time frame placing it around 500 years after the events of the first game. Jak 3 largely focuses on the Wasteland, a large desert only briefly referred to in the previous entry in the series as being completely uninhabited and inhospitable.
Spargus City, a large settlement within the Wasteland bordering the ocean, is where the game officially begins, and serves as a hub for the player, where new weapons and upgrades can be earned, and most missions are given out. Later on, the plot shifts focus to Haven City, a sprawling metropolis which was the central locale in Jak II, though the size of the area is only a fifth of the Wasteland.[2] Some levels from the previous game are radically altered or removed entirely, while others are added, branching off from Spargus and the Wasteland rather than from Haven.

The game opens with Jak and Daxter being banished into the Wasteland by the tyrannical Count Veger for supposed crimes against Haven City. As they begin to succumb to the heat of the desert, they are rescued by a group of desert-dwellers, who take them back to the city of Spargus.
Upon their arrival in Spargus, Damos, the king, demands that Jak serve him in return for allowing Jak to remain in the city. During one of Damas' missions, Jak is found by Ashelin, who begs him to come back to Haven City to defend it from the Metal Heads and the new Krimzon Guard Deathbots. Still embittered about being exiled, he refuses to return. Ashelin leaves him, but later, Jak changes his mind and makes the journey via transport to Haven City. Jak and Daxter help reunite the resistance in Haven and give them hope that they can beat back the Metal Heads and Deathbots.

Partway through the game, Jak and Daxter start to encounter strange creatures. A Precursor telescope in the outskirts of Haven City reveals that the beings are Dark Makers, who were once Precursors, but exposure to Dark Eco transformed them into twisted beings. Jak finds that a purple star in the sky is actually a Dark Maker space ship, and it is nearing the planet. The only way to stop the ship is to activate the planetary defense system situated at the core of the planet, and after defeating the Metal Heads and Deathbots in Haven City, Jak and Daxter begin their trek to the Planet Core.
Once there, they are ambushed by Count Veger, who is shortly detained by a small group of Precursors. The Precursors send Jak and Daxter to the Dark Maker ship to slow it down while the planetary defense system charges. The mission is a success, but as the ship is breaking apart, a gigantic, spider-legged Dark Maker terraformer commanded by the Deathbot leader, Errol, escapes from the ship and descends to the planet. Jak follows, and after a battle, the robot is destroyed.

Jak X
......................................................................................................
This is it. Jak 3 is the concluding installment of the action adventure trilogy, but before our heroes can discover the true nature of the Precursors, they're gonna have to save the world again from hordes of Metal Heads, KG Deathbots, and other big, nasty bad guys.

Taking place one year after Jak 3 , Haven City has been steadily rebuilt after the defeat of the Dark Maker menace. Combat Racing became a sport over time in the dangerous Kras City. Jak, Daxter, Ashelin, Samos, Keira, Torn and Sig receive an invite to the reading of Krew's (one of the villains of Jak II) last will, as does his daughter, Rayn. After offering a toast, Krew reveals in a recording that everyone present has been poisoned. Krew gives an ultimatum: the only way to obtain the antidote is for everyone to race for him at the next Kras City Championship.

In Jak X: Combat Racing, the player controls characters from the Jak and Daxter series, all of which race in customizable dune buggy-like vehicles. The two main modes of play in the game are Adventure and Exhibition. Jak, the main character of the series, is the only playable character in the Adventure mode, and must participate in a series of Eco Cup Championships in the game's story to obtain an antidote to a poison he and his comrades have consumed. Jak can also take part in a variety of Events in the Championships as to earn Medal Points and advance through the ranks. The main Event of the game is the Circuit Race, in which Jak must finish a set of laps in a course while avoiding the wrath of the other racers. The player can destroy these racers as well by picking up Yellow and Red Eco weapons, with Yellow Eco acting as an offensive weapon made to attack and destroy opponents, and Red Eco acting as a defensive weapon made to protect the player from incoming attacks.

As Jak and friends progress through each race, they find that another crime syndicate led by the mysterious Mizo has it in for Jak. Eventually it is revealed that Krew and Mizo made a deal before the events of Jak 3: both gangs were to make their own racing teams and the loser of the Kras City Championship will submit, making the winner the sole crime family in Jak's world.
Before the final race, Jak and his
team learn from Blitz on TV that a mysterious new driver has entered for the Mizo team. When Jak starts the final grand prix, he realizes that this driver is none other than Blitz himself. After Jak beats the race, Blitz storms over to Rayn, yelling that they cheated. Blitz takes off his toupee and reveals himself to be none other than Mizo. He steals the antidote for the poison and drives off, but Jak manages to shoot him down and take it back. Upon leaving Mizo to die in his flaming car, it explodes, somewhat similar to Krew's death. Before death, Mizo comments on Jak's habit of leaving people to die and Jak responds with "You get used to it...". Back at the lounge, Rayn thanks her friends for their help, and Samos compliments Keira on her driving. As Rayn walks away, Daxter realizes she left behind Krew's video diary. Jak and the gang find out that Rayn knew about the poison even before the reading of the will, and was following her father's instructions by making sure that she wasn't poisoned so that their family could be the top crime family in Kras City. As Rayn drives away, she tells some people over the phone to spare Jak and his crew. As Rayn has many thoughts of what to do in the future, this could lead to a Jak X sequel. The entire game ends with Jak finally kissing Keira.
