Jacki Goodall has kindly sent in a list of synchro moves that she has found on a website. Skaters taking part in the Showteam might like to have a look, as there are some good tips in there, and a lot of them are applicable to things that we will do with the team.

To all skaters and parents,
You are probably aware that we are waiting for a new build of our ice rink, though the plans for this are not yet finalised. The last information that we had is that the ice rink is going to be the same size as the rink at Grimsby, which although an improvement on the current rink dimensions really isn't very beneficial for our young and promising skaters. I would urge everyone concerned with the club to write a letter to Ashfield District Council planning department to ask them to reconsider their plans for the ice rink.
Click here to download a sample letter on the web site that you can re-address and use, but if you want to add anything to this please feel free to do so. Please, everyone, both adults and children, do send a letter and support our local skaters. Please use the discussion board for any comments and queries and we will do what we can to keep you up to date.
Thank you! |

For health and safety reasons, skaters should NOT go into the Music Box or attempt to operate the CD player from the ice.
A committee member will be in charge of the music, so give them your CDs and requests if you have any music that you want to be played.
Thank You |
