Welcome on my website about the Allied airborne units in World War Two. This website is dedicated to the former members of the American, British, Canadian and Polish Paratroopers in World War Two. On this website you will find information about the activation of the Allied airborne units and their actions to liberate the world from the Nazi occupation.

History of this website


2004:

12 October:  creating and launching this website. The website contained "Home", Introduction", "Waal Crossing 2004" and "Links to other websites"

13 October:  pages "History of the 504 PIR", "History of the 506 PIR" and "Reflections on MG" added. Home page updated.

20 October: page "Unforgotten Paratroopers" updated and a Guestbook added to the site.

25 October: BIG UPDATE: webpage "Links to other websites about Allied airborne units in WWII" removed and added to the "Home" page. Webpages "History of the 504 PIR" and "History of the 506 PIR" removed. Click on "History of the Allied Airborne Units" to be directed to these two pages on the "brotherwebsite" of this site, as I can only create 7 pages on a freewebs.com website. I have added a number of links. I also have created "Questionnaire veterans of Market Garden". 

16 November: Lieutenant Edward Wisniewski added to the "Unforgotten Paratroopers" page. History of the 504th PIR updated with the account of Sergeant Albert Clark and PFC Bonnie Roberts. History of the 501 PIR added.

2 December: Corporal David Stanford added to the "Unforgotten Paratroopers" page.

7 December: Several links added to the homepage.

 

2005:

20 January: Linkspage created and links added to the David Stanford tribute website and my website about A Company of the 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment.

 

2009:
