Hello to you all! My name is Telena Rogers and I am a young lady working hard to become many things one day soon.
The reason for this website is to let the world know who I am. I know one day I will be known internationally, but this is a pre-interduction that I will be able to look back on one day and smile at. I would like to become more involved in political activities, and become an advocate for many causes. I figured by putting up this site, I'd be more successful at doing so. I am also using this site to find relatives. If you visit my geneaology pages, you will see my ancestrial background and possibly help me find some of my kin. Other pages on this site are specifically about my interest. Whether the page is about a person, or an event, it is important to me. I hope you enjoy all of the pages you see here.
I am currently seeking a BA in Sociology, History, and a minor in Anthropology. I am very interested in African American geneaology; I am hoping one day soon I'll be able to trace my roots back to Africa. I am also good at helping other's trace their roots;this is something that I love to do.
I am also very into music. I come from a very musical family, and I have dreams to perform in front of thousands one day. I grew up singing in a church chior, and listening to my dad play the piano. He soon taught me how to play, and from that day I've been interested in every insturment. I also play the saxophone and the clarinet. On this website, you will find a special page I put in specifically for my dad who has worked very hard to get his music promoted. The songs on his albums are unbelievable. It is really good music.
I have worked hard to get what I have at the moment, and I do not plan on stopping anytime soon. I plan to be very wealthy one day, but I also plan to give most of the money to charities and people who need it more than I do.
If I were to describe myself, I would have to sum it up by saying I'm the nicest person I've ever met. Not to say that I don't stand up for myself, but I am known for being too nice. I care about the needs and feelings of others, and I try to follow the Bible as much as possible.
Some people I admire or like are Michael Jackson, Allen Iverson, Anthony Henderson (Krayzie Bone), and Tyra Banks. These people have very unique qualities and traits about them that I am love to observe. It helps to make me a better person when I watch someone else handle situations in a mature manner. I was fortunante to meet Michael Jackson and Krayzie Bone, but never Allen Iverson or Tyra Banks. I do believe I will some day.
