Welcome to AIGC 2007

First International Workshop on Artificial Intelligence in Grid Computing
Scope
Computational Intelligence methodology plays a very important role in Advanced Distributed Systems, especially Grid Computing. Some thoughts of artificial intelligence can strengthen and enhance the performance considering the problem of optimizing functions. The integration of these aspects will bring the new inspiration to us.
The main aims of this workshop are to highlight the latest scientific advances within the Computational Intelligence and Distributed Computing. The objective is to try to bring together what work there is on this subject and to establish a basis for further fruitful interaction and discussion of the issues involved by the people involved.
The technical issues which will be addressed in this workshop include:
- Grid Application
- Intelligence control methods for Distributed System
- Intelligence Methods for Resource Allocation
- Intelligence Methods for Task Scheduling
- Intelligence Methods for Grid service publishing, finding and composing
- Security techniques and systems
- Quality-of-Service support
- Resource management
- System architecture
- Fractal Theory
- Fuzzy Logic
- Neural Networks
- Genetic Algorithms
- Intelligent Agents
- Digital signal processing
- Chaos Theory
Accepted papers will be published in the ACM International Conference Proceedings Series and will be made available in ACM Digital Library, as well as indexed by EI and ISI Index.
Address of the Conference:
The Empire Landmark hotel and conference centre, 1400 Robson Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
