The goal of the AICUF is to bring about the
transformation of the present CASTE-RIDDEN semi-
feudal capitalist Indian Society into a new society that
will be free from every form of exploitation, alienation
and oppression. Justice and freedom and brotherhood
will characterize the society, where man will be truly
human as the gospel demands.



MAIN THRUSTS OF THE AICUF
1)To be sensitive to situations, of injustice, articulate the issues and get involved through meaningful action.

2)To foster and create an understanding of leadership in the service of the masses and in the communion with them.

3)Critical study and analysis of society with scientific tools.

4)To create critical consciousness within the university so that we about appropriate university reforms. Study and research and, in general the whole university community should be made sensitive and responsive to the needs of the masses.

5)To be in contact and in oneness with rural and urban groups working for the cause of social reconstruction.

6)Through Eucharistic sharing, prayer, study and reflection to acquire a critical
understanding of faith so as to be fully responsible to the DEMANDS OF THE
GOSPEL as related to the concerns of man.

7)To be PROPHETIC ELEMENT in the Church so that the
Church plays its role in the Total Liberation Of Man.

8)In all our study and action to opt for the POOR AND THE MARGINALIZED.
