I got my first pug in 1988 as a family pet but quickly found how addictive they are.One was not enough and about two years later Abby[NZ Champion Marquise of Shihala]produced her first litter- Over the years since I have improved on the quality of my pugs and am now producing group and specialty in show winners. The most succesful of my pugs to date is NZ Champion Ahuriri Summer Magic who won the Amborona cup for runner-up Pug of the year WellingtonPug Dog Club 2004.Becky has won many group awards and is a delight to show. |

We welcome the arrival of 'Sam' to our showteam.His Sire is Jubilee's Sunday Silence[USA] his Dam Ahuriri Charmd Im Sure. Sam has competed in six allbreeds championship shows-He has won five baby puppy of group awards and placed twice in the finals of puppy sweepstakes-

Beckys sister from a repeat mating -NZ Ch Ahuriri Shez Magic has also done very well for my kennel.Gina has been a winner at group level and the day she gained her eigth challenge for her NZ champion title she was runner up in show at the Manawatu Toy Dog Show. |

Thanks to Merle Sayles of Saylecrest kennels for having my girls stay with her and showing them to many of their wins.
We must not forget their mother NZ Ch Ahuriri Misha.Misha is a lovely bitch to live with and a real treasure as a brood bitch and has passed these traits on to her daughters.
Misha is also a winner at group level.
The day Misha gained her eigth challenge for her NZ Title she won the toy group and went onto win best intermediate in show at all breeds level-A real accomplishment for a black bitch. |
