Welcome to our cavy page.  My cavy obsession started when my mom forced me to purchase a white crested red boar.  Since then, I've never been without at least one.  I bought a breeding pair and kept a beautiful Golden Agouti/White broken boar from that litter.  I continued by breeding him, and watching how the genetics eventually brought out progeny very similar to the original breeding pair when line bred.  Growing up, I was always very interested in the breeding and genetics of animals. 

I didn't breed any cavies for several years during college and when I decided I would like a few more as pets, I purchased a couple agouti's from a local breeder. I have started to take an interest in showing, and breeding cavies again. After some thought on which variety I would like to work with, I decided to focus on the American Tan Cavy.
