Overview
Age of Oblivion is a new Custom Hero Arena / RPG with four gameplay modes and many unique features. Choose to become one of either the Faction of Light or the Cult of Darkness and fully customize your hero in almost every way: -Choose your hero / hero main attribute -Select his Offensive Skill -Select his Defensive Skill -Select his Special Skill -Select his Ultimate Skill -Aquire the perfect item set (see below) Gameplay Modes
-Kill Count: For every hero kill your team achieves, you gain a point. When your team reaches the target kill count, decided by the number of players and updated as necessary, you win the game. -Deathmatch: Each hero has 3 lives. When you run out of lives, you are eliminated. When all players of a team are eliminated, the opposing team wins. Wars are disabled in this mode, and everyone starts with a mythril bonus. -Timed Game: Sets the game time to 30 minutes. When 30 minutes is up, the game ends and the team with the most kills wins. -Conquest: The main RPG element of the game. Experience is handicapped greatly, bosses are significantly stronger, and bounties are reduced. You can save/load heroes, and swap their skills for other ones. Complete all the quests, and defeat the Lord of Oblivion, Xaphireth, and his XI disciples to truly beat the game. Still under construction. Items
The game has a very expansive and still growing item system. Features include: -Weapons! One specific type for your hero attribute. >> Strength - Axe >> Intelligence - Staff >> Agility - Sword -Extended Inventory, allowing you to carry 18 additional items. Cheers to AceHart. -Armor -Accesories -Spell Books -Artifacts -Nearly all the items either upgrade into stronger ones when certain essences are attached, or are combined with other items to create superior ones. -Nearly every spell is JASS-enhanced, making them very unique and eye-candy -Creeps spawn according to the average level of non-CPU heroes -Random glyphs used in item synthesis are dropped from creeps -Every 6 minutes the two teams go head-on at war, forcing blood to be spilled -Boss Events: throughout the game, Oblivion DIsciples will leave the Fortress and enter the arena -Rune Keys required in unlocking the gateway to Oblivion -Unique transportation: Travel at extreme-speed by train or zeppelin -A very nice atmosphere, with a 'city' surrounding the arena |
