Agape Christian Fellowship

A Place for Christians, Non-Believers, and those Curious

What we do there!

You may ask: "Are you the kind of fellowship that highlights 6 books of the bible each week? Or do you sing classic church hymns from a big fat book to an organ?"

Well, Agape Fellowship can be classified as a tad more contemporary than a church service. A typical Agape meeting consists of Worship, and "Group Time".

Worship is usually a half hour period of time where we sing songs from artists including, but not limited to, Matt Redman, Chris Tomlin, Jeremy Camp, and other Christian artists.

After worship comes the weekly announcements, reminders, and information about special projects and fundraisers. These announcements are usually followed by 30-40 minutes of "Group Time".

Group Time consists of one or more of the following:

  • Guest Speakers (Usually announced a week or two in advanced)
  • Small groups where you can bond with your fellow Christians, ask for advice, and ask for help and prayer requests. Your small group is led by an Agape Leader who will always keep your information confidential.
  • Group Games! A few times each semester, we have group games to chillax and take a break from the stress of school.

Community Service

Agape Christian Fellowship serves the community every semester with an average of 30+ hours (collected as a group). Previous projects include The Salvation Army Christmas Program, and Lowell's Beautification Day. Agape also sponsors a child, John, in Africa

Food Nights

Agape is planning to have a food night in the Spring of 2007 in hopes of raising money to sponsor our kid in Africa. More details to come!
