The APNET Research and Documentation Centre
The mission of the APNET Research and Documentation Centre (ARDC) is to be the databank of knowledge and information on African publishing. By collecting, analysing, and making information available ARDC aims at becoming a significant reference point for decision and policy makers, donor agencies, research institutions, publishers, educators, NGOs, etc. Plans are underway to utilise ARDC's resource materials for purposes of advocacy (i.e. researching on pertinent issues before lobbying with the World Bank, for example).
