Volcancito is located on the eastern slope of Volcan Baru overlooking the town of Boquete at 3,200 feet above sea level. The higher elevation creates a "micro climate" with less rain and lower temperatures as compared to Boquete. There is no need for air conditioning or heating systems as the year round daily average temperature is from 53 F to 75 F.
