History

There's no better way to learn about something new then learn the history, right?... or so that's what they said in school.

AFMS started as an AMV group in November 2005 by LoveAnime18. It was a rather small group, comprising of a small group of friends. For a long time that's how AFMS would stay. Until AnimeNEXT 2007, when LoveAnime18, Seductressofdeath and JezziiAlexiel joined together and performed a YYH skit that year.

After that LoveAnime18 talked to SageKiller about making a cosplay group since they planned on being in masquerades for future cons together anyway. So with that said and done, AFMS then became a AMV and Cosplay group.

"Why stop there!" LoveAnime18 thought, and well, LoveAnime18, just being her, decides that since there is way more to anime fandom then simply AMVs and cosplay she makes AFMS open to all anime fandoms alike, doujinshi, fanart and fanfics. And that would bring you to today where AFMS is the One Stop Group For Anime Fandom as you know it today.
