In recent months, AFK Lawnmower have seen somewhat of a transformation. For seasons now, AFK have been internationally reknowned as a dynamic side, full of exciting players. The club has enjoyed much success, stretching from that those brilliant Division One titles to the magnificent Christmas Shield victory. But as time ticks by, players move on, and the club as to evolve. In the absence of AFKLawnmower.com, the club have been through such a transition.

AFK Lawnmower have lost many of the legends that have blessed the FlymoDome in the past, as they have moved on to pastures new. These players can never be replaced in their contribution to the club's success, and in the hearts of the fans.

But the terraces are chanting new names these days. They chant the names of the new breed of AFK superstar. New players have breathed life into the club once again, and have seen it rise to possibly its greastest ever season. In the club's recent 9th season, AFK won every single game, a historic first, scoring a stonking 36 goals on the way. AFK have smashed records in the last few weeks. Having joined the club on a permanent basis last season, Alex Dowell went on a goal scoring rampage. He managed to score in every game of the season, bagging a record 14 goals on the way. The club also recorded a 6-0 win over Thameslink FC, the largest in the club's history. As the club stromed to its third Championship title, fans and players alike eagerly awaited the return to AFK's home: the Premier Division.

The club's return to the top flight begins on March 8th against Hungry Hippos, a side that finished 5th in the Premier last season. Two big games this season are against Premier champions Purgatory, who are on a similar run to AFK, and the final game of the season, against rivals Team Handsome. AFK have never won the Premier Division, but many would argue that AFK have never had a side like they have now...
