My Lost Fan Fiction Released
|
My Lost fan fiction is now online! Check it out here. Remember to check out Lost: The Official Magazine #2 in stores now! And next week, check out the repeat of "...And Found." This episode tells the story of those on the raft and continues with revelations inside the hatch. Check back next week with a new fan fiction. Here is another sneak peak:
The young woman next to me was about to say something when there was a sudden shudder throughout the plane. It was like the plane dipped suddenly, and pulled back up. I felt myself being lifted upward out of my seat. A woman behind me screamed a little, and there was a loud thump as a woman working her way to her seat in the aisle hit the ceiling. I was about to think something was wrong when the plane began to reverberate violently, as if an invisible hand grabbed us and started to make the whole plane rattle. I looked at the man behind me, who was checking his seatbelt. I tested my seatbelt’s strength as well.
Just then, it was like a wave of alarm shot through the plane. The oxygen masks had dropped down from the ceiling and it seemed the shaking grew more violent. A few people screamed in terror, at which point I realized that we were in danger. The woman next to me was taking deep breaths and hanging on tightly to the seat, so I grabbed her oxygen mask and put it wordlessly around her mouth. I just was able to put mine on and look around at the terrified and shocked faces when there was a grinding sound and the back section of the plane suddenly disappeared.
I looked in alarm behind me, and stared at the old man and the man next to him. They were both wide-eyed in terror, and they should have been. I watched in terror as their seats suddenly fell away and began to chase after the much larger tail section of the plane. It was at that point I screamed, because I had a feeling I was going to die in this crash. The plane was falling down at an incredible fast rate, to a place I did not know. I was afraid for my life and I began to wonder if this was repent for my sins, even though I was not a big believer in God. I was terrified. There was no other way of putting it.

Lost: The Official Magazine #2
|

The Lost official magazine is going to be released this Tuesday (December 6) and it has a load of information from the show. Among other things, it will include information on the tail section survivors, interviews with Josh Holloway (who portrays Sawyer) and Harold Perrineau (who plays Michael), Naveen Andrews (Sayid) and Maggie Grace (Shannon) will talk about Shannon's death, a poster, and information on things that lie ahead. It is a must have for any Lost fan. If you hurry, you can catch the first edition, which is pictured at right. It has bios on all of the cast members, interviews, and a loads more stuff (including interview with Matthew Fox, Evangeline Lilly, Emilie de Ravin, and Dominic Monaghan.
Also, coming this Wednesday (December 7) is part one a fan fiction I wrote based on Lost. I will mention it in this site when I add a new portion. It will come in five chapter segments, which will tell the lives on the island and off of it or three original characters. They landed between the tail and middle sections, and had to face a lot of suffering (even more than the tail section). You can catch a small summary here. Here is a special sneak peek:
I called out, but the rain was falling heavily and probably muffled my voice. I stood there for a few minutes, trying to see if anybody came, but no one did. I began to work my way towards where I hoped I could find the ocean. Maybe if I found a beach or something, I could wait until a rescue plane found me. I walked for a while, with no idea where I was going. That’s when I heard the cry echo through the forest. It caused me to loose balance, and I fell over a log. There was an animal somewhere out there. But it sounded like no animal I ever have seen or heard of.
The cry was like an animal’s, who was just getting ready to attack its prey. But it also sounded like a machine, like it was a robot or something. The sound was oddly beautiful, like an animal crying for its lost mate, or maybe even like a coyote’s cry at night. I was transfixed on this noise. I didn’t know if I either should stay there or run, because even though the noise was frightening, it made me feel like it needed help. After a few minutes of me listening to this cry, I felt whatever it was come this way.
I stood up in awe, trying to place where this beast was coming from. Suddenly, the howl erupted from all around me and a tree was suddenly uprooted somewhere in front of me. It landed to my right, causing me to loose balance and fall again. Whatever it was, it was coming towards me, fast. Even though the majestic cry filled the air and made me feel oddly at peace, I had a feeling it was dangerous so I got up and ran. I didn’t care where I was going, as long as it was away from that monster.

"The 23rd Psalm" Not to Air Until January
|

The next episode of Lost, which you did see previews for at the end of "What Kate Did" is not to air until January 11th. This episode has flashback from Mr. Eko's past, and deals around why he took that forty day vow of silence. This episode seems to have the return of the Monster, and it seems to be after Mr. Eko. Premiers show Mr. Eko smashing Charlie's Virgin Mary statue and expossing the drugs inside to a shocked Kate, Michael with an angry expression, Charlie and Mr. Eko being attacked by the Monster, Jack and Kate looking scared, Sawyer looking sick, Michael getting a gun ready, the Monster approaching Mr. Eko (like it approached Locke several times), and Michael firing the gun. I don't know what it means exactly, bit it seems that Mr. Eko will face the Monster, Michael will go search for Walt (yet again), and more tensions will cause the rift between Charlie and Claire to grow. The episode to air on the 7th is going to be "Everybody Hates Hugo" so I will hope to get the recap written for that during that time. I will also try to update the site with some new things. Check out the two new polls in the poll section, and the "What Kate Did" recap below. I have also found this picture of the case shown to the right. Everyone except the two dead people (Shannon and Boone) are pictured, including Ana-Lucia, Mr. Eko, and Libby. |

|
Sun and Jun wake up from their first night together. They look outside to see Sayid meticulously digging Shannon’s grade. In the hatch, Jack is taking care of Sawyer. Sawyer is partially awake, and asking where Kate is. Jack tells him she is in the jungle picking fruit. Sawyer mumbles, “I love her.” In the jungle, Kate is picking fruit. When she climbs down the tree, she sees a black horse not far away from where she is standing. She stares at it until it gallops off into the woods.
Kate comes back to the hatch and meets with Jack. He says that he’ll stay so Kate can attend Shannon’s funeral. Kate refuses, and says that Jack should go instead. She says that she will look after Sawyer. Ana-Lucia is at the beach when Mr. Eko approaches. He says that he is attending the funeral. Ana-Lucia tells him that she isn’t. He tells her that most people believe that what Ana-Lucia did was an accident, but she is set in her mind that they middle section survivors won’t accept her. At the funeral, Sayid speaks about him and Shannon. It is too much for him and he gets upset and decides to leave. The rest of the group says their goodbyes. In the hatch, Kate is making Sawyer food. He mumbles something, and she leans in to hear. He grabs her by the throat and says, “Why did you kill me?”
Jack and Locke return to the hatch from the funeral to find the timer beeping. Jack rushes to Sawyer and finds him on the ground. Locke quickly enters the numbers and hits “Execute” just in time to reset the timer. Kate is in the jungle. Charlie finds her and she asks if he believes there are horses on the island. Charlie simply says that they saw a polar bear.
Jack meets Charlie at the beach. He asks if he saw Kate. Charlie tells him he saw her head towards the caves. In the hatch, Locke finally frees Jin from those handcuffs. Michael asks Locke about the blast doors in the hatch, but Locke has no answer. Locke tells th em about the Orientation video, so they decide to watch it. Jack finds Kate in the forest. He yells at her for leaving Sawyer. She apologizes, and tries to leave, and then yells that she can’t be him. She starts to cry because she thinks the island is making her crazy. Jack comforts her and she kisses him. She stares at him and then runs off into the jungle.
Inside the hatch, Locke, Mr. Eko and Michael are watching the video. Locke and Michael begin to talk about it, and when asked to comment on it, Mr. Eko is silent. He silently gets up and walks away. Kate is sitting on Shannon’s grave. Sayid comes over and puts a necklace on the cross. Kate apologizes for not being there. She asks Sayid if he believes in ghosts. That’s when Sayid decides to tell her about seeing Walt before Shannon’s death.
In the hatch, Michael is interested w ith the computer and asks to look at its hardware. Locke says it’s okay. Mr. Eko approaches Locke and says he found something. He tells him a story about the Old Testament and shows him the bible Bernard found in the bunker on the other side of the island. He opens it to reveal the missing piece of film.
Jack is in the jungle chopping wood. Hurley approaches and tries to start a conversation saying he didn’t expect Rose’s husband to be white. He then asks if Jack is mad at Sawyer. Jack denies it, and continues with the wood. Sun is in the hatch taking care of Sawyer. She has to go and do something, so Kate takes over. She is watching him when she decides to try to talk to her dead father, who she believes is speaking throug h Sawyer. He asks for Wayne and Sawyer groans. She thinks he’s in there and says that she did it because she hated that he was a part of her which meant she couldn’t be a good person. Sawyer wakes up and sees he is in a bunk bed. He asks Kate if they’ve been rescued.
Locke and Mr. Eko are in the hatch repairing the tape. Locke thinks it is fate that they found both parts of the tape and then they were brought together. Mr. Eko tells him not to confuse a coincidence with fate. Kate, meanwhile, is showing Sawyer around the hatch and then takes him outside to show they really are on the island. They see the black horse. Kate goes up to it and pets it before it leaves. Sawyer asks if she knows the horse. She says that she does. At the beach, Jack tries to convince Ana-Lucia that no one hates her. Back in the hatch, Michael is still playing with the computer. The missing segment tells him not to try and call for help, but when Michael notices the word hello flashing on the screen he decides to answer it. This is the exchange:
– Hello?
– Hello?
– Who is this?
– This is Michael. Who is this?
– Dad?

In flashback, we see Kate outside a dingy old house. She is playing with a lighter when a car pulls up and a drunken man gets out. She takes him inside and puts her on his bed, all the time he is flirting with her. She quickly then goes outside and hops on her motorcycle. With a morose expression, she drives away. As she gets a certain distance away, the house explodes.
Kate enters a restaurant. Her mother is working as a waitress inside. She asks for a beer, but her mother gives her a coffee. She asks about the broken arm her mother’s new husband, Wayne, gave her. Kate gives her an insurance policy on the house, and tells her she took it out unde r her name. She tells her mother to see she never saw her, and then leaves. Her mother stands there asking what Kate did.
Kate is at a train station buying a train to Tallahassee. A man is standing behind her. It is the Marshall. He asks if he knows her. She glances around, and notices there are undercover cops all in the terminal. She grabs her ticket and tries to run but the Marshall is too fast and he arrests her. He tells her that her mother turned her in.
The Marshall has Kate and is driving her away from the train station. He asks why she decided to kill him now, after her father made her life hell. He starts to give her his ideas on why she killed Wayne. The Marshall, after done talking, tries to light a cigarette and crashes, despite Kate’s warning. She frees herself from the handcuffs and kicks the Marshall out of the car. Just before she can drive away a blac k horse crosses in front of the car.
Kate enters an army recruiting center and walks to a man sitting by the front door. He is her father. He asks if it’s true what she did and says people are looking for her. He asks her why she did it, and she tells him how she made was making a scrapbook for him. She called the army and asked for photos of him, and when she got them she noticed dates were stamped on the back. They tell her that her father was still in the army four months before she was born. That’s when she realized that the man her she thought was her father, Sam Austen, isn’t. The man she killed, Wayne Jansen, is. Her father admits this and says that he’s going to call the cops. Kate asks for an hour head start, then hugs him, before running out the door. |

New Episode - "What Kate Did" Tonight
|
The new episode, "What Kate Did" is on tonight. In this episode, we learn about Kate's origin al crime, what got her initially chased by police. She has a scary incident while watching over Sawyer, which makes her wonder if there are such things as ghosts. Plus, Locke and Mr. Eko discover something on the Orientation video and Michael has a strange experience with the computer. I believe we may see something new on the tape, like the missing segment that warns you not to do something (and it looks like Michael will be the one to break the warning). It also seems we will uncover a possible link between Kate and Sayid in this episode.
Meanwhile, in this week's TV Guide, Michelle Rodriguez (who plays Ana-Lucia Cortez) hints at a love rectangle between Jack, Kate, Ana-Lucia, and Sawyer. She is quoted saying, "Jack and Ana Lucia are too similar..." and goes on to state her theory that it will be Ana-Lucia and Sawyer who will get together. The five page article also gives some hints into the next episode, "The 23rd Psalm" that will show us why Mr. Eko took that forty day vow of silence after he killed the two Others in this flashback. Not much is said about Libby's past, as it seems that a flashback episode for her hasn't been planned yet. Carlton Cuse, an executive producer, also tells us some things we'll learn about this season. |

Episode 2-8 Recap "Collision"
|
The episode starts out with Sayid trying to attack Ana-Lucia because she just killed Shannon. After a struggle with her and Mr. Eko, he is knocked out. Ana-Lucia holds a gun to the group and tells Mr. Eko to tie Sayid up, but he refuses. She makes Libby do it using the vines holding together Sawyer’s stretcher. Mr. Eko tries to get Ana-Lucia to realize that Sawyer needs help, but she doesn’t want anyone to go anywhere. Mr. Eko decides that Sawyer really needs help and picks him up and carries him to Jack.
At the beach, Jack and Kate are playing golf together. It’s Jack’s turn and he hits it into the jungle by mistake. As he and Kate go and collect it, they run into Mr. Eko. He asks them where the doctor is. Jack and Kate bring Mr. Eko and Sawyer to the hatch. Jack and Kate rush to cool down Sawyer’s temperature as Mr. Eko gets used to his new surroundings.
In the jungle, Bernard and Libby try to reason with Ana-Lucia, who herself doesn’t have a plan. They say that she should let Sayid go and then should go to the beach. Ana-Lucia thinks that since she killed Shannon they will not accept her. She tells Michael to go and get her ammunition, clothes, food and other supplies so she can live out in the wilderness alone.
At the hatch, Locke (who is on number duty) questions Mr. Eko on who he is and what he is doing here. He tells Locke about the death of Shannon, which Locke doesn’t really react to. Kate and Jack are meanwhile trying to get Sawyer to take antibiotics, but he can’t keep them down. Kate is eventually able to get Sawyer to take them.
Back in the jungle, Bernard gets fed up with waiting around and decides that he is going to leave without Ana-Lucia, even if she did help him survive those forty-eight days. Libby decides to go with him, as she wants to go too. Ana-Lucia then tells Jin to go, but he is reluctant until Sayid tells him that is alright.
Meanwhile, Michael is rushing to get to Jack. He runs into Sun first, in her garden, and he tells her that he will explain eventually, but Jin is alright. Sun takes him to the hatch and to Jack. Jack is just learning about Shannon’s death, and decides to go after the person who did this to her. He asks Michael to take him there, as Mr. Eko is being silent. Mr. Eko then tells Jack that it is Ana-Lucia who killed Shannon. Jack, recognizing the name, begins to have second thoughts about going after her. Seeing Jack’s reluctance, Mr. Eko says that he’ll take Jack, and only Jack, there as long as he brings no guns. He agrees and they set off into the jungle.
In the forest, Ana-Lucia and Sayid are talking about their lives before the crash. After they share their feelings, and some details of events that killed them inside, Ana-Lucia decides that Sayid isn’t a threat and unties him. Ana-Lucia says that he should kill her, but he says that it would be pointless to kill someone who is already dead. Sayid forgives Ana-Lucia for Shannon’s death.
Michael leaves the hatch with Sun and goes to the beach and is greeted by Vincent. Sun goes over to do wash. Charlie, who is playing his guitar, sees Bernard, Libby, and Jin come out of the forest first. A group soon meets them, and Bernard fights through it to get to his wife Rose, who is running to meet him as well. Jin also fights through the crowd, but towards Sun.
Mr. Eko and Jack stop out in the forest when they see Sayid, carrying Shannon’s body, and Ana-Lucia coming. All of them stop, and Sayid and Mr. Eko start walking back to camp. Jack and Ana-Lucia don’t move, but stand as still as statues staring at each other.
In flashbacks to Ana-Lucia’s past we see her talking to a shrink. He asks her about a man named Danny, who we find out left her. They start talking about an officer-involved shooting that happened four months ago, and whether Ana-Lucia should come back or not. In the end, the shrink decides that Ana-Lucia can handle it and gives her back a badge that has the Los Angeles Police Department’s shield on it.
She goes to the captain’s office and starts to speak to her, trying to find out why she isn’t riding in a police car and is instead stuck behind a desk. The woman, who we learn is her mother, tells her she doesn’t want people to think she gets special treatment but gives in and lets Ana-Lucia get into a patrol car again.

Next we see her and another officer in a car. They are talking when a domestic disturbance call comes in over the radio. Ana-Lucia convinces him to respond to it. Once there, they find a man stealing things from a woman, who is carrying a crying baby. She is yelling that the items he is taking are her stuff, and despite Ana-Lucia and the other cop’s yelling they keep fighting. Ana-Lucia, noticing the baby, draws her gun and tells the man to get on the ground and the woman to go to her apartment. The other officer has to convince her to put her gun down.
They go back to the station, where the captain greets them saying that they got him. They go to an interrogation room and look through a window at a man named Jason. The captain says he admitted to the cop shooting. Despite her mother’s protest, she says that he didn’t shoot her. Her mother gets angry and asks her why she can’t identify a man that shot her four times in the chest.
When talking to Sayid, we learn that she and another man responded to a burglary call. Her partner went around back, while she stayed in front. That’s when a kid came out, saying he was making a mistake. He said he’ll reach for his school ID, but instead pulled a gun and shot her.
At her last flashback, we see her waiting in a bar, and then following the man named Jason out of it. As he walks to his car, she calls out to him, and he asks how she knows him. Ana-Lucia draws her gun and shoots him, saying that she was pregnant, before shooting him a few more times and leaving. |
