If you know what work is needed on your vehicle call or email for an estimate.  I will also thoroughly inspect your vehicle prior to starting any work to make sure that what we discuss is indeed the problem and confirm the previous quote is accurate, or adjust the estimate if more or less work is determined to be needed.

You may bring your vehicle to my garage at a time that is convenient for you.  I am very flexible and will work around your schedule.  I will inspect your vehicle and provide you with a free estimate of work needed and estimated cost involved.  If after beginning work it is determined that any further work is needed, you will be contacted prior to doing any additional work, with the estimated cost of any further repairs, if needed.  No work will ever be done without your approval and you will always be notified of the expected cost in advance.

An estimate is, though, just an estimate.  No matter how much I would like to provide to the penny an exact cost of repairs, any mechanic can run into additional problems that were unforseen prior to starting the work.  But, unlike some less than reputable mechanics, I will never tell you your car needs more work done just to make more money, or start a job just to notify you part way into the job that the job is much more extensive and therefore much more costly, or not fully repair your vehicle knowing it will cause additional problems later, hoping you will again return the vehicle to me.  These types of tactics are very dishonest, and you can expect much higher standards from me.  I will give you the most accurate estimate to the best of my ability, and if I should find out that anything further is required, I will never start any additional work without your approval.
