Short Bio: The younger brother of actor-writer Ben Affleck (whom he physically resembles), Casey Affleck first won attention playing Russell, the disaffected youth who joins Joaquin Phoenix in committing murder in Gus Van Sant Jr's "To Die For" (1995). Previously, Affleck had been seen only sporadically on TV, most notably as the teenaged Bobby Kennedy in the 1990 ABC miniseries "The Kennedys of Massachusetts". On the big screen, Affleck subsequently played another disaffected teen in "Race the Sun" (1996), which co-starred Halle Berry as a woman helping a group of youths find themselves through building and sailing a boat. He appeared in "Floating" (1997) and could also be glimpsed in Kevin Smith's "Chasing Amy" (also 1997), which starred his older brother.
