AFC NORTON

Audaces Fortuna Iuvat

We are proud to announce that from October 1st 2007 we will be sponsored by Diss based renewable energy company Enertrag UK Ltd. Enertrag have kindly donated over £1000 towards a new Away kit and training jackets (bearing the Enertrag UK logo), match balls, practice balls & equipment and pitch marking equipment. The kit is supplied by Keith Mills @ Days Sports, Fornham.

Enertrag UK is a British company set up in 2001 to develop and manage primarily wind projects but also they have interests in various renewable energy technologies in the UK. The German parent company has over 15 years experience in renewable energy projects with over 500 wind turbines and 2 biomass plants in its portfolio as well as waste incineration.

This new sponsorship represents a huge boost for our grass roots football club and with this in place AFC Norton should now be able to thrive over the next few years with financial status secure.

Norton Service Station

We would like to express our gratitude to John Smith and his staff at Norton Service Station for their support in helping to bring football back into the community of Norton. In March 2007 they kindly donated £400 towards the purchase of a much needed home kit. Norton Service station will sponsor our home kit until the end of the 2007/08 season.

John has been involved with Norton Service Station since 1965 when it was just a small garage selling petrolium and a few sweets. Now the garage offers many different services, including:

  • MOT's
  • Service Work
  • Workshop Repairs

Norton Parish Council

The club would also like to extend thanks to David Etchells-Butler and Norton Parish Council for their continued support of the team by providing the Village Hall facilities and of course the pitch for home games and training.

We welcome all support from local people and organisations. Please come down to the Norton Village playing field to support your local team. We might not be effective, but we're pretty!

Thanks to The Norton Dog public house for they're previous sponsorship.
