August 2006 saw the arrival of the stunning Joda Alabama at Aesir. The son of Joda Aly Dahr, 2005 Australian Champion, and from Joda Gamil, "Bama" was the next obvious step for us. He had been shown lightly as a youngster in Victoria for several Champion sashes before moving to Shardell Arabians in South East Queensland, where we purchased him.
Many thanks to Rod Strahan of Shardell Arabians for allowing us the opportunity to purchase such a magnificent and loving stallion.

Bammy is producing quality foals, both purebred and derivative obtaining his height and good looks, all progeny in shows taking home Champion sashes, his sons already standing at stud, one filly receiving a renowned judge's comment that she will go world class. Several of his progeny have also begun their saddle careers and are going brilliantly. There is no doubt he will continue to produce stunning, functional, friendly foals for us into the future.

Bammy is approachable, affectionate and a delight to handle. On top of my amputation, I had a broken ankle when this photo was taken in the middle of breeding season - such a big sook!

We had used Adamah, owned by Yvonne Barlow of Natham Park Arabians, over 2 of my mares at the start of 2006, however, an unforunate transport incident saw both mares arrive home in shocking condition, and both slipped their foals. I do intend to use him again in the future however for my own little Adamah baby to keep...
