Aesir Arabians

Show * Endurance * Pleasure ...Naturally

Atbegir Kazsandra was purchased directly after the birth of Zahli on photos and pedigree alone - sight unseen. A bit of a risk, I know, but it was worth it. Kazsy is a big, beautiful moving mare, pretty, and plenty of bone ...and certainly an interesting pedigree, being by Aladdins Comet, from Bremervale Reisling (W N Dasjmir). On purchase, she was sent directly to Kanandah Arabians to spend a little personal time with Kanandah Sanzar, and just over 10 months after that, she produced our second filly, Astara.

Peoria Ni Sal was purchased from Rowena Atkinson of Tri Star Arabians in foal to Dalhope Kramer (S K Shakla Khan), and delighted us with the resulting Aesir Debbani, who at this stage I plan to retain. Sal is a delightfully gentle and responsive mare to handle, with the face of a doll, and flowing movement. I'll be keen to  eventually see her in the show ring - when she's not making beautiful babies for us!

Here's me going for a blast (can't be serious all the time!) on one of our sister Thoroughbred mares, Margo (really, that's her registered name!). She's a super athlete, scarily fast, jumps exceptionally well, and loves mustering (what? loose cow? On the job!!). And she'll go all day with hardly a puff. I'm envisaging her progeny being capable of just about anything from eventing through to endurance. She is a very correct, strong and pretty mare, by Tanzada [Hyperion, Nijinsky, Northern Dancer, Gainsborough, Blenheim etc.], from Regal Ease and stands at 16hh.

Margo has presented us with an exquisite Anglo filly by Bammy, born just before midnight, October 15th 2007. First pic' now on the Babies at Aesir page, watch there for more pics and updates.

TanzaGrand a.k.a. "Georgia" is the first of our Thoroughbred mares, by Tanzada, from Chantilly Grand, and is a superb broodmare in every respect. She is easy to handle, easy to breed with, and throws fabulous foals. I can send her out for a ride with a novice on board knowing full-well they will arrive home safely. She is a superb natural mother, and has adapted well to "nanny" following the loss of her own baby at the end of October 07. The true original sweetheart of Aesir!

She is also a half sister to Margo, thus carrying the same sire line, both of their dam lines being equally impressive and athletic.

My baby girls are growing up, so they're moving onto the mare's page. They are maturing beautifully, and both are delights to handle. I'm keen to see the result of mating these young ladies with Alabama when they're old enough, in the mean time, we're just waiting for shows to start up again.

On lease from Nikki Crisp of Parkes, NSW, we welcome to Aesir the gorgeous Botusa Park Krystelle.
With a pedigree boasting Ruminaja Ali, Naadirah, and some very respected Crabbett and endurance lines, she was just a delicious opportunity.
Due to her relative youth she won't be bred immediately, though the prospect of the resulting foal is very exciting..... (....patience....)
